2005 kit coverter to 2006????

Seems to me that 1G is sharper as 2G so it will save me space in my z-datas

Edit : Btw, I just noticed something, the sleeves on the converted kit look a lot sharper than the "original made for" Fifa06 ones, just look at Kaka's sleeve on the screenshot, the Serie A logo is blurred while on the Ascoli kit it's perfectly clear, even from farther away, strange!

That is probably because Kaka' is using longsleeves and the Ascoli player shorts sleeves, although it does look a little bit clearer. How good does the back look after using this process?

The back of course appears a little bit blurred in the 2006 kit format but, in the game, it cannot be worst then how it appeared in FIFA 2005. I think that an expert kit maker could easily sharp it saving anyway a lot of time instead of starting from scratch.

Another topic: in order to speed up the creation of new patches for FIFA 2006, what about a "Player Converter 526" ? Extract players from 2005 database and import them in 2006 (including face maybe).

As you can see, the font doesn't fit in the white circle on the kit, which it did using the same font in Fifa2005 (I altered it in the db, the yellow giant font was killing my eyes lol), so I guess it is streched a bit, but this it won't be of importance in 90% of the kits (who use plain colors or stripes and no geometric figures to put the fonts in)

Edit : I just looked in Fifa2005 and the font didn't in fact fit perfectly inside the cirlce either, so never mind, I guess I'll have to look for a smaller font

That would be very nice indeed, but I think the Fifa2005 face .o files are not compatible with 06, you might have a problem there, however to make new league patches this would certainly be great!

Now, I'm going to preach for my own church a bit, as a sound patcher, but it would be so nice if you would care to take a look at possibly making a chant importer for Fifa06, Rinaldo. Importing the files by hand is a really tough task and lots of people have trouble with it, even with Andy's tutorial (especialy since the file structure for the chants changed from fifa demo to full version this year), making the chant raptor and other previous importers for Fifa2005 incompatible...

Of course if you have other projects I understand, but it would be nice if you could consider it

Finally I understood that, after a certain number of downloads, the files are deleted automatically by my server (sigh!), so I am going to upload them periodically.

Billy: about the sound importer, did you try the beta version of my "Fifa File Master 06" ? I am not an expert so you should let me know what you need in order to import chants ? Send me an e-mail and I'll think about it.

Yep, but you got to admit the converted kits are still way better than the default EA ones

is there any chance you can make a tool wick convert the fifa 06 kits to fifa manager kits? the fifa manager kits looks like this:

as you see the socks is where the sleeves is on the fifa kit...this would be great for all the fifa manager fans so they have a chance to get new kits to their game...

I have released it for public use, so the beta version is no longer available.
I will give precedence to sweetpatch and fifamania.it but other publisher are welcome.

For the friends of Fifa International: I appreciate if you remove your downloadable copy of the beta version.

For Alex: maybe in the future, it will not be a big job but now I prefere to work on FIFA 06.
