The Suns are screwed. The Spurs, as boring as they play, got their number. And this might even be a sweep. The second half was especially boring. I didn't get to watch the first game, but this second game was too predictable. Anyway, even though I'm anti-Spurs, I think they got this series. Hopefully Chris Paul, whom is very quickly turning into one of favorite players, can take them out. I'd like him even more.

Speaking of which. God damn, is he for real? I mean, what other PG puts up 30+ points 15+ assists and basically carries their team all on their own? He's playing ridiculously well right now. He's damn fun to watch.

Starting XI
The Spurs were pick & rolling the Sun to death and it was actually pretty fun to watch Parker & Ginobili own the Suns possession after possession.

I don't think the Spurs are boring, everyone says that their main star, Duncan, has no personality and so they just project as a quality of the team as a whole. Then you have the fact that the rest of their stars are not Americans so people just think that is boring or something.

that duncan shot reminded me so much, so much of horry's 3 pointers vs the kings. i don't particularly love the suns, but the spurs just embody everything i hate. love duncan's game, hate his lack of emotion. he only shows it when he's called for a foul or if he hits a ******* impossible shot. i hate myself for hating him. however, bowen is hands down a dirty player. no, he's not a hard nosed defender. he is a dirty player. everybody knows the little things like hitting a player on the elbow when he shoots and stuff like that, but bowen takes it to another level. he actually wants to hurt people.

ginobili. he deserves his own paragraph. i didn't write two paragraphs when i was writing my grandma's obituary, but this ******* cock of a dick deserves his own. somehow, some way he succeeds in the NBA. i know he can play. he can shoot, he has decent speed, but if you look at him, you just ask yourselves... "How...?" how in the **** does this balding, 30 year old man who jumps off the ground less than Divan did when he "dunked", who looks like he is having an seizure when he shoots, whose pump fakes are slower than pamela anderson's orgam if she was being ****ed by a 2 inch dick, who flops like if ******* tyson just punched him in the face... how is he so good? im sorry grandma. but i just don't understand. i still remember him going coast to coast vs serbia with something like 1 second left. i ******* hate him.

wizards are playing some hard nosed ball man... figure if you can't outshoot them... make them bleed. worked for hitler.

The ACC was electrifying tonight!! amazing!!

• The Raptors owe some serious propers to the red-clad, flag-waving Air Canada Centre crowd, a lively and organized assembly which maintained a high-decibel level and gave their players the best home-court advantage they could possibly expect. The atmosphere resembled a European soccer match during stretches -- somewhat appropriate given Toronto's melting-pot makeup -- with the fans singing and chanting and standing the entire time while rooting their players to victory.

Did you see Nash with the whiteboard in the second half during a timeout? What the hell is Nash doing drawing up plays, isn't that what the coach is for?

I KNEW I wasn't crazy. No clue what that was about, but it wouldn't surprise me if Nash finally went postal and tore the board out of Mike's hands. Figure if Mike wasn't going to use it, Nash could at least try.

Why does every NBA team feel like they have to do a "sea of <insert color here>" for their playoff games? It's gay and unoriginal oh and really gay. Let's see here:

Hornets: Teal out
Sixers: White out
Raptors: Red out
Wizards: White out
Cavs: Yellow out
Magic: White/Blue out (at least they were a little different)
Jazz: White out

I'm willing to bet the Hawks, Suns and Nuggets will follow. Props to the Lakers, Celtics, Spurs, Mavs, Rockets and Pistons for not dumbing themselves down and keeping the crowds colorful like they should be.

---

Can the Sixers seriously win this?? Is Flip Saunders really that bad of a coach? He took a championship squad and in three seasons is close to turning them into a first round loser.

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
Sixers! :mambo:

2-1 series lead, don't think many people saw that one coming, and by a blowout too.

It's not like this is a secret anyway.. Everyone knows NBA players + drugs go together. And Im not talking about marijuana here.
But hey, players accept it, league accepts it, so it's all legal.

Also I had the bad luck of watching the 2nd half of this det-phil game... Don't think the pistons even came out of locker room in the 2nd half. Mentally they didnt, and they literally quit the game at the.. ~ 37-38thmin/

And mrwannabe bigshot talking about have to win games and non have to win games just shows how far from being a championship winning team the Pistons have come.

Oh yeah and the suns really suck today/ 14pts behind 1st half

Why did everyone once again fall asleep on the Spurs? In my opinion they have played the best of any of the 16 teams so far and they have played it against one of the top 5-6 teams in league, unlike the other championship contenders.

I feel like an idiot for picking them to lose to the Suns, who by the way are done. I feel for Steve Nash, I really do.

you know, i actually don't feel for steve nash. now i see what cuban saw a couple of years ago. he is a phenomenal offensive player. just awesome. has some of the best court vision I've ever seen. i would put him in terms of magic/kidd in terms of how well he gets his teammates involved. but... seriously. i don't think i have seen a player that just refuses to play defense. he does not front his man, and it is obvious he just says "**** it". he just wants to end the opponents possession and get the ball back in his hands. the whole suns squad is the same way. i feel for shaq, not nash. i understand kerr wanted to improve the tenacity and inside presence, but i think he forgot that he had NOBODY to guard the perimeter. marion could guard tony parker or tim duncan. shaq can do neither. shaq of 2003 could guard duncan, but not this one. He's slowed down considerably. even when he gets those offenseive boards, he goes up for soft layups/flops instead of tenacious dunks. just doesn't have the same impact anymore. suns with marion had a shot. suns with shaq do not. guess it took tony parker to look like the second coming of isah thomas to figure it out. suns suck. spurs blow.

Marion or Shaq it doesn't matter, the Spurs are better in every way and they have a vastly superior coach.

Steaua speaks the pure and unadulterated truth in regards to these contrived colour unities, man.....especially if it's all White and the lighting of the arena is abnormally bright as it was in Washington. That game was a ******* headache to watch, man

hey, guys. Are the Spurs owning the Suns like they are right now if Parker and Nash were to switch sides? Does Parker running the Suns offense make this series considerably closer, or does Nash teamed up with Duncan steamroll the Suns?

I can't decide.
