Yeah, I don't doubt it, especially after the butt raping they gave to the Cowboys. But I'm being optimistic until it's all resolved. Here's to hoping for Joe Flacco's rookie wall game, and for their D to lay an egg so that the Jags can run all over them.

The Bears are so damn lucky to have a great defense. If the Packers had any kind of killer instinct, they would have demolished and put them away.

Oh well, right now I'm rooting for the Eagles, Bucs, Bears, Vikings and any other team that can possibly screw the Cowboys out of the playoffs, so this is good.

We apologize for keeping the yellow too long

The more I watch the "rest" of the NFC the more I feel that it's almost guaranteed to be Giants-Panthers II. Atlanta is nothing more than a feel good story....they'd never survive a trip to Charlotte.

That's simply untrue, we're very kind.

Oh, for football. No, they'd get destroyed.

My favorite part about Atlanta doing well is how it exposes Vick as a glorified running back. ESPN constantly blamed "poor receivers" on his passing mistakes. Those same receivers are doing a damn fine job with Matt Ryan...hmmm.

Not all is lost. We beat the Saints next week and clinch the 2nd spot in the NFC so we still get a first round bye and at least one home playoff game, after that it is not in our hands.

Two things cost us this game though, our TERRIBLE run defense and mental mistakes/mistakes on the last drive in normal time with Smitty's holding call being absolutely blatant and inexplicable to me at the moment. I don't know if I'll ever understand what he was trying to do there.

But let's be fair, home field is why the Giants won this game. That FG was going through the uprights until the wind took it.

I want a rematch of this freaking game in the NFC Championship.

sounds like sour grapes to me. The Giants are slightly a better overall team behind the panthers. Our running game at there best crushes ur rash and dash duo lol. But U gotta love that playmaker Steve Smith from the carolina that is. Now if we would of had burress but i'm glad we didn't even thou he is a good WR when he is on game. That will kill the g-men in the playoffs is the passing game. If they don't have a running game you can't really put all the offense power to eli just yet. I smell a rematch thou happy holidays.

Ehhh, I don't know, Finneran was Vick's best receiver when he was playing, and he's nothing more than a 4th receiver this year.

The Hatriots are out of the Play Offs. Excellent :D

We lost our 3rd game in the last 4. Plaxico is missed. Although Tom played his B team today and we still gave the Vikes a fair fight.

Last year we did it on the road, this year we can do it at home. GGGGG Mennn

Oh and we are getting a brand new stadium. Watch this baby beaches.

And how about them Lions? (H)

Funny to still hate a team that lost its franchise, MVP quarterback plus 14 other players to IR, and still went 11-5. If it was any other team, people would be verbally licking their collective balls for their feat. But it's okay to kick the Patriots even while they're down, right?

I'm pretty proud of this team, and even if Brady won't be ready for next season is true, I think this team will be taking back the Super Bowl with Cassel. He's proven to be a winner. It sucks to miss out the playoffs, but it wasn't for lack of trying. That's something teams like the Bears, Bucs, Cowboys, Jets, Broncos etc. can't say.

I'll laugh my ass off if the Giants go one and done. It can definitely happen. I think the Falcons or Eagles can do it. As long as neither of the Manning brothers make it to the Super Bowl I'll be satisfied.

It's a NY/Boston thing man, i am pretty sure you would understand it. :biggrinx:
Although i got to admit, The Dolphins became my other favorite team yesterday. Getting rid of 2 of my my most despised teams? Are you kidding me? Chad Pennington for president. :33vff3o:

Reports are that Mangini is out of NY.

Honestly the way things are set in the NFL i would not be surprised that much to Skips' horror we witness a Manning Bowl this season. :)

Atleast you got your wish of the Cowboys not making it.

Yeah, least important of my three wishes. But I'll take it as some silver lining. No jerk off-fest over the Cowboys and golden boy Tony Romo on their success. Thanks, Eagles!

This will be the first year since 2002 that I watch the playoffs as a neutral. Ironically Favre laid an egg that year in helping the Pats out, too. What a douche he is. I hope his arm falls off and Mangina's fat ass eats it.

I should of gave santa my wishlist. The vikings did everything and the giants started to rest some of the players throughout the game. But it still hurts to lose like that. Now i know how the panther fans feel lol.....

Calvin Johnson to the Giants. I don't want OJ i mean Burress in the squad anymore. He's just a cancer to the team. I respect him for his talent but he is not a professional.
