Make America Great Again
I've never seen a team give up possession in their own third like New Zealand. If they're just going to give the ball right back to Spain, at least boot it up field.

night

Starting XI
New Zealand are plain horrible in defense and give the ball way too easily. I'm hoping Spain will score 4 or more in the second half for entertainment's sake.
Also, I can't wait for tomorrow's matches..

EDIT: 5-0 Villa (H)

The Von Trapps
only one more added in the second half ... New Zealand, to their credit, do not seem to have a long-ball tactic, and instead play a passing game, putting together a few triangles in the middle of the pitch, which is always good to see ...

this tournament should have started yesterday, so that I (we) could have actually watched tomorrow's more sumptuous matches live ...

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
At least spain made up for the previous game..

Also, what's with the schedule?? why didn't they start this yesterday.

Youth Team
No matter how you slice it 50% CONCACAF > 22% CAF... So you have a deeper pool of teams that only have a 22% chance to make it into the 2nd round while the 50% is from Mexico and USA only. Costa Rica didn't put up much of a show but T&T did amazing. If anyone should lose a spot it should be the Playoff spot from CAF to CONEMBOL, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, CHile, Ecuador is better then any 5th team CAF can put out
