and stop this idiot argument with their culture, blowing trumpets like idiots is not something to be proud of.

That's the thing: most europeans think games in the altitude shouldn't be banned in order to respect those countries, well, trumpets are a lot better than altitude.

And btw, my argument can be 'idiotic', but you don't have argument at all, but wahhh I don't like it.

Brazil 2-0 USA HT

We've been f**king awful. There's no other way to put it really.

Beasley and Kljestan are playing for Brazil. They are horrible, horrible, horrible players. Utterly useless. The rest of the team is merely bad, but those two need to be taken off at halftime. I don't care if we replace them with orange traffic cones, we'd still be better off. This is the worst I've seen the US play against a big team EVER. If RoboBob doesn't make some adjustments in the second half, I'm going to seriously consider jumping on the "Fire Bob Bradley" bandwagon.

Saw the first 20 min and then decided to come to work.. Very disappointed by how we were playing. Of course, that first goal shouldn't have been because there wasn't a foul, but still doesn't take from the fact that our defense fell asleep on that one.

If things don't change fast, we might as well not show up for the world cup.

did you expect anything better against brazil ?

Not true! This was supposed to have been a weaker Brazil squad....they had already clinched qualification and those back-to-back WC Qualifiers were bound to take its toll on the players. The Americans were desperate.....atleast they should have been.

This game was almost as bad as Czech Republich 3-0 USA (2006). I'd say that THAT game, played in a World Cup, produced a worse performance by the Americans than this one.

We didn't even make Brazil beat us. We beat ourselves. Obviously, I didn't expect us to win, but I at least expected us to make it difficult for Brazil, the way Egypt did.

A little bit better in the second half, before Kljestan completed his abomination of a game by getting himself sent off. We did hit the crossbar twice, but the game was well over by that point.

Howard - 6

Bornstein - 3
Onyewu - 5
DeMerit - 5
Spector - 5

Beasley - -10
Bradley - 5
Kljestan - -10
Dempsey - 2
Donovan - 4

Altidore - 3
Casey - 4

If we lose against Egypt (which we probably will), fire Bradley. Simple as that. If the USSF fired Arena for WC2006, why shouldn't they fire Bradley now?

We have zero firepower and dont practice skill on the ball. It's all fitness drills and zero creativity. Yeah our guys can run around the field all day but when the oppurtunity presents itself we get scared out of our minds. This really even isn't about bob bradley... it's about how us soccer is setup for youngsters. We dont promote creativity and every four years it shows like a big sunglare in the world cup.

if you compare individually the players they are quite balanced but egypt its much better than usa in team terms. the americans base his playstyle more in defense (at least vs italy that looks like), egypt its more "tiki-taka".

I've known and despised this since I entered high school. In America fitness is more important than skill, which makes sense for some positions, but if you have a guy with great skill you need to play him. I was disrespected my entire high school career because I wasn't fast. Nevermind that I had the best technique, vision, and ball skill on the team. When I finally was given the chance to actually play I never lose my spot in the team because, what do you know, technique and vision/anticipation matters!

I mean look, you're not going to play Paul Scholes (me) over Kaka, but we don't have Kakas in America. We need to develop our version of a Paul Scholes. Someone who can make the correct pass, who can hold up the ball and dictate pace. America doesn't have anyone who is that good. Donovan at best is a plus winger. That's his skill set is good for a winger. Same for Dempsey. Bradley is a box to box midfielder. But we don't have anyone with any creativity, with any vision, with any composure on the ball, and that's why we suck.

Plus, if i never saw brian ching, demarcus beasely, or bornstein again on the field i wouldn't shed any tears. Not only do they not contribute, but they actually help the other team. Btw what happened to adu for the US team? The kid has some creativity at least...

I think you guys are being too harsh on the US team. Brazil is way better and there weren't any surprises today.
BTW Ramires is a really good player, he has a great future.

Seriously Beasley isn't NT material. Why isn't Adu or Eddie Johnson playing/starting? Im sure he'll be more useful then Beascrap. I felt soooo bad while watching the game after Robinho scored in min 20 I took a nap with the tv on.....

We are being harsh because from my point of view, we should be performing better than what we have shown. Sure, maybe we may not be able to beat a Brazil, but at least show up of for the full 90 minutes, create chances and score a damn goal in open play FFS.

Beasley is done.

Adu, if tought correctly.

Yeah you're right, Adu could be sort of a poor man's Totti kind of player if he develops. But I'm not exactly sure that's he the facilitator, I would play him more as a withdrawn forward and then have him combine with a Scholes/Iniesta/Riquelme/Pirlo type.

This man speaks the truth about all these US players that think because they are them they get a automatic spot in the NT.
