CAF confirmed that the bus driver, the assistant coach and the spokesperson died. The GK Obilale was reported dead by some teammates, but his club said that he is undergoing surgery in South Africa.
And now, Togo decided to stay in the tournament from respect for those who died.
It would be really nice if they would catch a Top 3 place.

Togo withdrew form the competition.

New reports say they may play on. If they do, it would be justice if they won after what they went through.

Which annoys me is that the CAF is trying to shift all the onto Togo for the incident.:clapwap:

While looking through the squads, I found this guy named Mexer playing for Mozambique. He just got bought by Sporting. I wonder what's with him...

He came from "Desportivo de Maputo", i dont know him too, but lets see. Im cheering right now for Angola and Moçambique! Plus, i want to see that Angola kit in action. Carlos is a great goalkeeper for Angola, and they have some other good players. Manucho that everyone knows. Mantorras had some talent, but his knee injury it will always be present in his career. Mateus, that plays in Nacional....

LOL. The one who scores the own-goal in the video you posted is Tamboura, the one who had two assists for Mali against Angola.

l.e.: Togo left. They're not playing.

Ivory Coast 0-0 Burkina Faso
I thought it was a very interesting game despite nobody scoring.
IC had enough chances to win though. Some of the misses were unbelievable.

I guess, their prime minister said that they can't play and if someone plays under Togo's flag, he is a traitor. He made it very political.

For God's sake, he should exclude politics and terrorism from football.
