Ronaldo scores almost same as him while whole Real tactics are not based on him, Higuain and Benzema scored so many goals last season as well.
Also, Ronaldo proved himself at International level, Messi was **** at coppa and world cup, yes he can score a hat trick against some second rate south American team.
I'm not Ronaldo fan, and everybody here know it, but some of you are so biased.
That being said, we are not comparing their abilities here, ballon'dor is given to footballer of the year, not most skilled player.

I'm not so sure about this - surely as with all statistics they need to be contextualized. Ronaldo's league goals helped his team to the title and some of his International goals came in a major tournament. I am not saying he deserves to win, he probably should have carried Portugal a little further in the EUROs for that, but just spouting statistics really doesnt "close the case"Dytza;3331718 said:Unfortunately you brought up two players who play in the same League as Messi so the old statement "LaLiga is crap anyone can score there" can't take place.
Primera:
Messi: 50 goals - 37 matches
Cristiano: 46 goals - 38 matches
Falcao: 24 goals - 34 matches
UCL/EL:
Messi: 14 goals - 11 matches
Cristiano: 10 goals - 10 matches
Falcao: 12 goals - 15 matches
National team (Argentina/Portugal/Columbia), in 2012:
Messi: 12 goals - 8 matches
Cristiano: 5 goals - 13 matches
Falcao: 5 goals - 6 matches
Case closed.
