Firmino is very good, but it's entirely possible that it's context based. He hasn't succeeded at the top yet. However, a few shitty matches in a new set-up and playing, from what I've heared, out of position, is hardly indicative. Costa was shit for Spain in the WC, too, under similar circumstsnces (only he carried an injury (but at least played his usual position)).
