Must be. Leonardo says Pirlo & Pato not for sale. I'd sell Pirlo for 20M GBP in a heartbeat, he went from being the most underrated to most overrated player in the world over the course of 2 seasons. And I love how Seedorf remained unmentioned. It's like "I'm not leaving, I love it here at Milan"... Ya but you're not really needed at this point. Get lost!

There's one reason which may be keeping Pirlo from being sold and that's his nationality. Milan like to have a good Italians / foreigners ratio. In Pirlo's case i wouldn't mind keeping him, but if we're making big changes now's the best time to replace old with new, and 30 mil or anything close to that is a really good deal for a 30 year old.
I think that Džeko will come, he's enchanted with Milan and he's crying to the bosses at VFL to sell him, it's just a matter of price and it seems VFL are asking a bit much for a player they bought for 4 mil two years ago, i just read that in winter his price was estimated at 10 mil and now 30, a big jump isn't it. €22Mil + Dida/Kaladze is a great deal for them (AND US, PLEASE TAKE KALADZE HE'LL BE HARDER TO GET RID OFF).

Wait til the transfer window opens on July 1st... That's when the new season officially begins for me at least.

Yaay!!! A Signing!! We have bought the Porto left back Aly Cissokho for 15 Miln €! Finally a signing by Milan. Can someone describe this player, i've seen him maybe only once and didn't pay any attention, is he any good? Milan rarely pay that much for players especially defenders so i hope he'll be really good. All i know is he'll be turning only 22 soon.

Yeah,the whole league produces good dribblers and crossers, Portugal's produced a lot of great wingers/fullbacks.
I cannot find a compilation of his nowhere, i did found one clip where he runs the whole length of the field with the ball past 4 players and makes a narrow pass, looks elegant, but then again,one 20 seconds is nothing compared to a season so i'll have to dig something up.

Porto in January bought him for 300.000 € from Setubal, and in the end of the season sells him for 15.000.000 €. He dind't make a full season at Porto, i believe that if he had stayed, in the next season he would be out for much more than 15 Million €, but is well played from Porto, and they bought Alvaro Pereira, so they have back-up to the position.
Well, Cissokho has talent, i never tought that he would fit so well in Porto's squad, but i was wrong. He's young, and i believe that with more experience, one day he will be at France NT. But he's not perfect, he needs to evolve more if he wants to reach there.

cissokho is an interesting player, with lots of potential but with a lot to learn also
one year ago he was played in french 2nd division. this season he transferred to a middle-low class portuguese club, vitoria de setubal, and then 6 months later he transferred to porto where he was immediatly in the starting eleven
he's a fast player, has lot's of stamina and likes to support the attack

Thanks for the info guys, well i'm looking forward to see him play for Milan.
And finally we've changed our ways, Galliani has said that we want to build a young Milan side that will balance itself financially also and that after Thiago Silva and Cissokho we will continue buying in this direction. I just hope that we land Džeko soon he's a dream signing! He just fits perfectly into this side now. Just the player we need to partner Pato upfront, Pato explodes when he plays with players like this, some of his best games this season he played with Pippo up front. Also with Zambrotta and now Cissokho, also Pirlo and Ronaldinho maybe even Beckham in the mid-season again, Džeko is a perfect target man for their crosses.
I'm interested in what will happen with Pirlo and Seedorf and if one of them or both leaves who will we bring in to replace them.
As for the financial part Galliani was talking about, he's right even if Džeko came in he'd have a salary of €2Mil per season, Cissokho has €1Mil, it's not the same as when you bring a 31 year old Sheva to sit on the bench and pay him €6Mil or pay €4Mil to the likes of Emerson based on their past glory. Ok with Dida, Kaladze and such overpaid players we didn't mess up entirely because those contracts where signed when they still played great, but this transfer policy since 2005 was awful! I am glad we're finally changing our style!

Milan rarely go wrong with young players i think that Cissokho will be a fundamental part of our squad over the new few years, from what i've read now, he's great defending and even better going forward, we needed a good defender on that left side, Jankulovski is really a midfielder and that is felt. Now i believe we have two great fullbacks with Zambro and Cissokho, and if Nesta will be fit along with Thiago Silva and maybe another new defender our defence will be great.
