I seriously hope we don't sign Gago, I don't consider him a talent at all, squad player at a big club is more appropriate, if we sell Pirlo we need to buy a brilliant playmaker, and a young one at that, a finished product, we won't have the time to wait for a player to grow. Gago is out of the question.

Someone with the characteristics of Fabregas perfectly fits the bill, of course he's 100% unrealistic and i wouldn't want to see him in Milan anyways. But someone of his characteristics would do great but i'm finding it hard to name a player who's a world class playmaker at 19-24 years of age and not laying in a top club or looking for a move, we had Gourcuff who was a perfect solution to loosing both Kaka' and Pirlo, we ****ed it up there big time!

Maybe we should really go for Hernanes, but i haven't seen much of him (Don't really know his style) , Cigarini wouldn't be the biggest gamble but that boat has sailed too, maybe for the best as he's still not top club material. Jao Moutinho, Felipe Melo - not quite a playmaker but would do, i'd actually like him to come very much after how he played at Fiorentina this season, GOURCUFF again!

I don't know maybe there are some new guys that i'm unaware off, do you guys have any suggestions?

EDIT: Talking of Madrid and Gago, just remembered I'd rather take Sneijder I admire him very much, in fact he'd be perfect! Hell i'd take even Van Der Vaart over Gago! Plus Galliani would do a masterstroke if he'd persuade Chelsea to give us Essien, but that is the most impossible thing to happen, only if Carlo proves again to be an idiot and lets Essien to leave just to make some space for his Pirlo :)

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
Hmm, didn't know you didn't fancy Gago. I thought he was good, guess I thought wrong, or not, ah who cares.

I'm not against the guy, and I'm even not against his ''transfer'' to Milan, but I'm against the idea of him being our playmaker, he can come to sit on the bench, and then they can bring in a real playmaker. :)

I admit I am too harsh on the guy, I do not dislike him, I hope he'll turn out to be a great player.

Pirlo along with Xavi was the best deep-lying playmaker in the world in the last 8 years or so, he's a little behind in form but he's still a world class player, players like him don't come every day, and he'll leave a huge void if he leaves, Gago isn't the man to step into that void, he'll get eaten alive.

I'd rather that Pirlo stays for a couple of more years, players like Seedorf or even Ambro who'll be our captain are far worse than him and they should be the ones packing their bags sooner than Pirlo.

Although I understand one thing, Galliani is building a new project, and players like Seedorf and Ambro will surely accept being benched a bit easier than Pirlo who wasn't as bad as them (Seedorf these last 2 seasons and Amrbo always :) ). Still Pirlo wasn't great, he even slowed us down a little bit, and if he stays there surely wont be place in the midfield for a new guy to come in and bring some freshness to our team, so that plus the fact that Pirlo is 30 and we would get €25Mil plus for him makes some sense in Galliani's mind.

Gago? he's so vastly overrated. AC Milan can do better.

oh yea and did I mention he's a diver/classless/twat all rolled in one? I'm still bemused you Milan sold that french talented player. He had sooo much potential that he is just a couple of years from truly being compared to a true french playmaker since Zizou.

So apparently we've turned down a "monumental" offer for Pato. Looks like Galliani's keen to keep after letting Gourcuff and Kaka go. No offers for Pirlo yet, but it's looking more and more likely that he's gone as soon as a decent offer comes in. I'm looking at you, Abramovic.

No Milan is not such a club, Pato won't go until he's at least 27-28, we've lost Gourcuff because he was bad when he played for us, and because of Gourcuff's Ego, the player didn't want to go back to Milan, he could have if he wanted, even without the buy-out option he would have left because he didn't want to play at Milan anymore. Galliani isn't to blame for loosing Goucuff, only Gourcuff himself and Ancelotti for not making Gourcuff a priority player to develop, if Carletto had confidence in Gourcuff even though he was **** with us and still played him, either we would be saying good riddance now or he would have worked eventually.

Oh and by the way i had me some thinking on the Kaka' transfer.
Selling Kaka' was a logical move, he hasn't performed to the levels when he won Ballon d'Or for the last two seasons, he was mainly injured most of the time and really uninterested in any small game (Seria A almost completely), and he even wasn't a game winner in bigger games since 2007. Selling Kaka' you can tell the rest of the players that there will be no more ultra big wages at the club and cut down the budget. And you still have a player that was even better than Kaka' for Milan in the last two years in Pato, who's almost playing Kaka's position.

For example:

2007 CL attack of Milan

Kaka' Inzaghi
Seedorf
With Kaka' playing freely all over the frontline as a second striker. A position in which he really bloomed.

And Milan's probable attack for 2009/10

Pato Džeko
Ronaldinho

Pato is overall much more suited to be our second striker than Kaka', his heading is far superior, shooting even more from brilliant long range shots to even great free kicks, his positioning is more like one of a striker. While Ronaldinho is a superior playmaker to Kaka'. Our attack may just be much more functional. Plus Pato is still 19 and has his whole future ahead of him, and with his talents he can grow to be one of the best ever IMHO.

I'm sentimental, I would have kept a player like Kaka' forever, but now that I've read some interviews seems like he's not all that bummed out for going to Real. I think the problem is that Kaka' doesn't want to play behind and Pato cannot play as a lone striker so we need to bring in a Džeko-type player, one of Kaka' or Pato was a surplus to requirements and Milan made a good decision to start a new project. €60Mil to rebuild a squad is perfect seeing that Berlusconi wants the club to manage on their own a bit. Plus i think that with him being the sole playmaker finally and being given complete freedom and a place in the first 11 we just might see Ronaldinho have a great season with the WC as a motivator. Milan has a plan on how to work with Ronaldinho, I've read something about it and they will give their all to make Ronaldinho n1 again, and I think that Ronnie can do it. **** if he wasn't benched for the second part of the season nobody would be speaking of this season as a failure. I think that nothing is wrong with Milan and that Milan will have great team finally after 3 years that Sheva left (Kaka' was the only reason for that CL virtory).

Gene Reginato

Youth Team
Don't go after Hernanes. He had a great season as a DM, but somehow it was decided he should be the playmaker of the team. He went to the bench for a while and it's now returning, but he should be a DM and only that.

Thanks for the info on Hernanes, well, we'll see, anyways i'm open to change!

DZEKO: "I WANT ONLY THE MILAN!"
Telelombardia and Antenna 3 have reached absolute exclusive Edin Dzeko, Wolsburg center of the object of the desires of Milan. "Everyone knows that my great dream is to play for Milan, as everyone knows, but right now everything is in the hands of Wolsfburg" said the Bosnian bomber. The words of Armin Veh, Dzeko prefers diplomacy: "I will not comment on why in the coming days to meet him, I think Saturday, I will have a meeting with him and the leadership of Wolsfburg, then I hope that everything is solved. My dream is to play for the Milan because for me is the best team in the world, Milan is something incredible for every player. " Finally, the wish to be the meeting of July 6 at Milanello: "I do not know, I need to talk to the coach and the new leadership, it would be incorrect to talk about it. Anyway I hope to be." Therefore important words which show a strong desire to Dzeko to wear the Milan jersey.

YEAH BABY!!!!!!

Also it was nice to read Fabregas saying that he'd go to Milan if he'd go to Italy. But just like with Torres, it's never gonna happen, but still nice! :)

Everybody loves Milan (H) We just never end up bringing them over. Wolfsburg are being stubborn with Dzeko, but I still think we'll get him by summer's end. And negotiations with Porto have officially reopened for Cissokho.

Deni_Rossonero

Cissokho and Džeko will play for Ac Milan next season.

I just can't wait to see who else do we bring in, hopefully a great midfielder if Pirlo moves on, Pirlo is great but it's ok if he would leave.

Milan has turned the page and I like it, I completely understand what Galliani is doing and he's doing what we all wanted Milan to do, Milan will be better and stronger in the next 5 years than in these last 5, stronger as a team and more compact. We are building a new team, not patching up the old one, and this new one is based on drive and teamwork, not on individual talent or experience.

Deni_Rossonero

He played the last 20 minutes of the season :) , he has finally recovered, he can train normally with the team. Thank God and I hope that he can remain injury free until he calls it quits, for me he is the greatest defender that ever played the game (yes a better defender than Maldini and even Baresi), if he can manage to be fit for the whole season we will be impenetrable ( :) ), i hope some other defenders leave though (Kaladze, Favalli - hasn't been given an extension yet) so that we can get ourselves a young understudy for Nesta.

Rocky

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
Good to hear, I asked because I kinda hope he reconsiders international retirement and comes back to play for Italy, would be good to see him have a good season.

Molinaro is Italy's greatest defender, btw. ;)

Deni_Rossonero

Senior Squad
Good to know about Molinaro :)

I doubt he'd come back, i think staying fit for Milan is enough of a task for him.
Anyways, he's 32 and if he can come back, with his quality he can play be great for another 2,3 to 4 years.

On another note, Milan has finally brought back Abate!! **** yeah! He came back to Milan permanently, and I am soooo glad hes one of the best young players in Italy, we can play as a wingback and as a winger, he's 22 years old and IMO with his quality can even challenge for a starting spot! Forza Abate! Good move from Galliani! Although it was quite obvious he has matured and it was just the time to do this, still good move!

Marcos Diniz a Brazilian defender has been brought back from loan too, haven't seen this guy play, but IMO he'll be playing only the Coppa Italia.

+ Pato:
"Milan are my life, I want to win the Champions League and the league, I am a Milan player and it's the club who decide what happens to me. I had a great year and a half, I want to help Milan win the Champions League.''

Thank you!

Our president spoke about the subject today. I decided to translate his quotes for you guys:

There isn't the slightest opening into reviewing the conditions of the deal.

It's unacceptable to think that we'll admit a loan after Milan's doctor himself stated that the teeth problem wasn't a barrier for the player to keep on playing.

They either want Cissokho and the deal is done for €15M or they don't want him and there isn't a problem since it wasn't me who searched Milan to try and sell the player.

There isn't another solution. If Milan comes back with the proposal initially agreed, we can think about selling him. We want to keep him, because we know there's still room for him to grow as a player, he's going to be even better in the future and when the time for him to leave us comes, Milan won't take him for €15M anymore.

The relationship between the clubs remains perfect, but that's not what will make us retreat. The latest news are the work of people that have the need to find a solution in order to get their comission. All of the speculations about a price reduction or a loan are fake.

the deal aborted because the Milan medical staff detected a problem that we already knew about and was being treated. Btw, when he joined us he was even worse and already then he played the way everyone saw.
The guarantee I have from the doctors is that he'll keep getting the treatments and won't stop playing football because of that.

They came up with a proposal to decrease the transfer fee to €10M, which I've immediately rejected . Then I got a fax from Milan declaring the subject was burried, so I responded saying that I agreed that the subject was definitely burried.
There is no negotiation running envolving Cissokho's departure for Milan.

Pretty enlightning I guess. Like I told you before, he's NOT going away from us for less than €15M.

Douchiani strikes again...and he's OUT!

Deni_Rossonero

When i said that Cissokho will play for Milan I meant that I think that even if Galliani doesn't manage to lower Cissokho's price he'll buy him for €15Mil in the end.

Deni_Rossonero

Senior Squad
Milan have met with Fiorentina to talk about Felipe Melo, and some people at Fiorentina said that it will be difficult for them to keep Melo at Fiorentina.
I think that Pirlo might be out already, as Galliani has said he's not for sale unles a big offer comes in. And I'd be very glad if Melo was his replacement, he's impressed me a lot on Confed cup this year.

A midfield with Flamini Melo and Gattuso would be great IMO.

More great news: Galliani has said that Pato will get an extension and that his glad for his words.

rony31

Team Captain
Hopefully Galliani stops being a cheap **** and just pays them the 15M, as their president seems keen to raise his price if we don't get him this summer.
