So with all the time wasting with throw-ins you think there was only 2 and a half minutes of injury time? I don't think so.
I agree. The ref should've given about 3 and a half minutes. But for some reason, that didn't happen.

But it's moot anyway.
Im not saying he should have blown up, personally thought he should have played 3.30 especially after Inzaghi got "shot". But it is the referee's choice and you can't do much about it.

i have always thought that liverpool needed a better striker this yr...

No, you're incorrect, injury time is at the ref's descretion. assistant put 3 minutes of added time. Favalli came on after, can't add on 30 more seconds, doesn't work like that.

Yes, the ref CAN add more time to injury time after he's signalled his assistant of his opinion. I can't remember having seen it on the EPL, but it happens quite frequently in Brazil, with all the timewasting that happens around here.

I don't think it'd be decisive for this match though. We couldn't take our chances for 90 mins, it's not 30 seconds that would make a difference

Well but they could've made a difference. Just like they did for us in 99.

that sucks for Liverpool.....Thats really unfortunate. But people say oh you didnt win the cup..You cant win everything every year. The world wont end soon theres many more years to win things. But for me this final was a bit low key and unreal....and the picking up the cup in the stand is crap....the guys in suits get to see them pick it up..Not the real fans and supporters...But this is Milan and thats why they got a reputation as a giant. They have been here many times. The experience counts a lot. But Liverpool have also won it many times. Both clubs are certainly winners in many people eyes.

it's okay Kibe, you can cry if you want to.

heh, it's fine. I just get a bit too over-reactive when I see people who have nothing to do with the match saying stuff.

milan deserved the win and i don't think they were lucky at all, the chances liverpool created resulted of milan mistakes
the were very efficient

AC Milan 2-1 Liverpool

17000 tickets allocated to each set of fans despite the stadium holding 63000.

Both sets of fans were ****.

Liverpool were the better team and lost.

Kaka was **** until he made the defence-splitting pass which released Pipo Inzaghi.

Greek authorities did not allow for big screens to be put up in Athens for fans without tickets.

AC Milan should have never been allowed in the competition in the first place after their match-fixing scandal.

An average final was played overall with both teams looking lacklusture.

Not to forget that the referee stopped the game without fulfilling the injury time added - despite AC Milan wasting most of that time with substitutes?!

How ****...

Doesn't take away from their acheivement. Because of punishments they couldn't buy that many new players. The had a really hard run-in to the final. They deserve it. They won on the pitch and not lost in a court room.
