It was a very strange match. We dominated and it was like we played some kind of amateur side. You would expect more from Feyenoord but apparently they weren't pumped up for the one and only klassieker. It's a shame we could'nt really convert the many chances we got but in the end we won comfortably 3-0. Seriously, seeing the way Feyenoord played we could've gone double digit if we would've been a little sharper in front of goal.

Yeah you're right we had more difficulties with Kozakken Boys than with Feyenoord today :|
At least we're still alive, let's hope the guys will continue like this and stay agressive in every game but I doubt it.
Next week Roda JC away, gonna be a difficult match on paper but anything can happen..

Let's hope our players will come back in one piece from the match against Croatia on wednesday especially Klaas-Jan because we need him now more than ever.

Nothing to add f*ck Roda always Roda :( (N)
I had a bad feeling upfront and it's sad to see that I was right :(
That's all I can say right now

It's not over till the fat lady sings but it's going to be very difficult to keep in track with PSV but who knows maybe they will drop points in the process.
It's hard to stay positive though, we were much better than Roda in the 2nd half and should've won. Silva scored a good goal from a freekick but it was disallowed for some weird reason! We deserved more but like Cruyff said if you don't score you don't win it's as simple as that.

It's been a good week for us, first we beat Sparta with 6-2, yesterday Johan Cruyff decided to return to Ajax to get things back on track and today Maarten Stekelenburg signed a new contract till 2012 I'm very very happy and the icing on the cake: THE ENTIRE BOARD INCLUDING JOHN JAAKKE IS GOING TO RESIGN BEFORE THE END OF THE SEASON BYE BYE :bob::bob:

News just came in that Van Basten has signed a contract as head coach of Ajax until 2012. He'll start in the summer.

It was to be expected. It'll be intresting to see if Marco can get results when he's actually getting the oppurtunity to work with players on a daily basis. BTW, I find it almost scary how his coaching career resembles that of his German counterpart Klinsmann.

Well his heart has always been red and white of course and this is no surprise for us Ajaxfans.
I'm curious to see what new signings he will attract with his name and Johan Cruyff advising the board (Y)
Welcome Marco let the games begin!

Yeah I was thinking we could sign a few good players because players want to play under a coach who was their idol back in the day.

Hunter should've finished them off but his shot went for the stands :| but he's forgiven ;)
Great winning goal by Johnny, Ajax has to do everything to keep him for the club I think, hopefully MvB has the same opinion but I think he has.
Ajax offered a new contract for Hunter, MvB wants him to stay of course but he would understand if Hunter goes abroad to seek his fortune there.
Personally I think he'll leave..

3 valuable points since Feyenoord drew with 3-3, next week against Excelsior at home, we lost this last season remember but I'm sure we will take the 3 points now! (Y)

Suarez and Silva will be suspended due to 5 yellow cards each but this will give Ogararu a chance to play again.

Edje just told the RTL camera's that there's a big chance he's playing his last season and that he might quit football after this season. Sad to hear that, can understand a bit. It's nothing for Edje to be uncertain of his place in the first team, he always wants to play. It's not certain he's going to retire yet, but after he said this it seems very likely he is.

Good weekend for us this week. Clawed three points back on PSV. The title race isn't over yet, but I still think it's going to be rather difficult for us with away games to Groningen, Twente and Heerenveen upcoming. Next week it's PSV away though. If we win there...well, who knows.

Nice one (Y)
Hunter scored 2 more goals and has now 26! goals this season :clapwap:
psv lost, feyenoord lost so we did very good, let's hope we can beat psv next weekend, good thing is that they have to play against Spurs on Thursday and our group can prepare for the game all week :D

MoM today was for me George Ogararu, he really excelled at times, Verthonghen was fantastic as well and Siem de Jong is a great young talent.
Next week Perez, Suarez and Silva will be back as well.
I think we have quality enough to beat psv next week so let's hope we can and reduce the tally to 3 points.

So much for the return of El Salvador. WTF!? :S
Johan has withdrawn himself from his assignment to analyze and rearrange the technical part of Ajax. Apparently a diffrence in opinion about how the youth academy should be arranged with Marco has made him quit immediatly.

Very strange this, only two weeks after he promised to try and help Ajax.

Its not Cruijffs or Van Basten's fault. Its the stupid direction who thinks they know better. Bastards!
