Perth was going to be in but pulled out at the last minute. I think it had to do with other codes and not having a suitable venue for the tournament's match days.

Host Cities are: Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane.

Did you watch Australia play in the World Cup? At home, and with even longer under Ange (was essentially a new coach for the team prior to the WC) we'll be no easy beats.

We looked the better side against Holland for much of the game, and apart from the first twenty minutes, looked better than Chile.

We'll have Robbie Kruse back too.

Really excited for the 2015 Asian Cup. The best thing about this tournament is the winner of the tournament will earn the right to compete for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup which is really a great news for football fans. #ContinentalTyresAFC

Not really, he got signed by Melbourne city to replace David villa, so he might make it back into the fringe

He cut his hair quite short for a while and that coinsided with his drop from the NT

Picked up my tickets for all the 2015 AFC Asian Cup matches to be played in Melbourne.

I'm going to:
AUS v KUW (opener + opening ceremony)
PRK v KSA (Juche v Wahabism)
KSA v UZB (Borat Sagdyev's favourite team)
IRN v BAH (Don't mention the Gulf)
JPN v JOR (JayJays)
JOR v PLE (Eternal Derby)

QF1 = Group A Winner v Group B 2nd Placer

If Australia don't get through as Group Winners; then I want to see an all-Korean QF.

Group A has the strong top two teams - but Kuwait doesn't pose a threat. All four teams have a decent shot to either make it or crash out in Group B. Iran won't be threatened in Group C and Japan will Nanjing the other teams in Group D.
