i have grait respect for marco, he is without any doubt the hardest player on the fields at this moment. but he is a fighter and appart from playing dirty and rough he makes goals and was one of the best players on the italian side during the world cup. The best defending team in the world zambrota - materazzi - "king"canavaro - grosso. In the match vs france he played fair and comon you guys, talking **** and insulting is just part of the game, specialy at the highest level. Zidane should be able to deal with it and he should be a man and not put the blame for his actions on someone else.

i am a grait fan of zizou and i will always remeber him as one of the best, but what he did was wrong and he has only himself to blame.

obviously blind cause Zidane didn't started it, he walked away when Materazzi was shouting smth, if he wouldn't have and just had kept his big mouth shut nothing would've happened so sure Zizou was wrong doing the headbutt but don't forget that your precious Marco started it
He may have been one of the best for the Italian side but to me and many others he is nothing but a dirty player, sorry he has the name :boohoo: and he confirmed that with these actions.

zidane said to materazzi with grait ignorance he could have his shirt after the game (because materazzi was pulling it). On this materazzi answered him: no,relax, and then he insults zidane. It's sad to say but insulting is part of the game, apart from fyiscal it's a mental game to, he fell into materazzi's trap and reacted, just what materazzi wanted, it's called provocation and it hapends all the time. Zidane should have known better. he should be a man and don't put the blame on someone else.

I still like him as a player though, he was without any doubt one of the best and i will always remember him as that :D.

heh, good ones

wonder what would have happened if he'd kick him, or if he'd been kicked by Materazzi's fellows in revenge...if there's so many "visions" of so short accident, editors around the globe would do the full time movie from it
