when you apply palette of all boots into one 3boots texture, open it and check only RGB field, then drag & drop texture with RIGHT mouse button (Special Mode) into palette slot

sometimes it doesn't work but sometimes it works ;) worked for me last times
if GS crash, you can try Jim's method, create 1x1 pixel image, apply over it palette of all your boots in Photoshop and do the same as above in analogical way

if it won't work, you can try third way, just open your boot bin with WE Picture Decoder, then choose 4th slot (for noneditables) and Import ACT file with palette you extracted from all boots
if you want to have all 9 boots fixed, apply this palette over ALL palette files (4th to the end); then import it with GS or AFS Explorer/AFS Extract/whatever

how do i save the palette i made big bmp cut it into 2 3 each side inserted it over the orginal bmps and i still get the red tinge! can you help me jim? i know how to make the boots into a 3 and all of that i just need to know how to import/save the palette so it will have all the colours in it!

I have this proble, "double tongue" if I try to use 9 fixed boots

What can I do?

set the first colour to transparent in the boot palette you imported and then change the edit mode tounge to the colour.

Sorry to ask what may be for many of you a simple question, but how would I convert an ACT palette from Photoshop into one i can use for WE Picture Decoder?

i am getting really annoyed here i managed to insert f50's and total 90's into slowts 5 and 6 by putting the there palette file by right dragging into palette 4 in grpahic center i then wwent to the game and the pred pulse in slot 7 was all different colours when before it had been fine can someone give a tutorial that involved everything i need to do i would appreciate it a lot as i am really trying here so i don't have to sponge off other people but i am getting no-where!

yes i've done everything you said i save the palette after making a bmp with 256 colours i split it into 2 but when i import the palette and boots in graphic centre the colours are messed up when i put the palette over the boots to see if it has worked they are all messed up and in the game they are all messed up

Have you reloaded the palette into the split bmps? Have you dragged the bmp pic over the palette in Graphic studio?
