Yea Algeria were lucky. The problem with Cameroon is that they always start a game very strong, fully motivated, most of their goals (99%) are scored in the first half. Then after, NADA!

That's pretty frustrating, thats exactly what happened during the last world cup. Wake up, damn it!

Hell yea, Eto'o missed some 100% chances. Pretty bad.

Senegal 0-0 Bukina Faso
Henri Camara missed 2 closed range, assist from Diouf.

I excepted Senegal to win.

Our "coach" (glorified P.E teacher) is completely CLUELESS! God help Nigeria!

I was very surprised by Nigeria's performance...they were playing as if it was a training session. Congrats Morocco for the win:D

Shokz mate, could you get me an avatar of that freekick?

It was great :D

Today's Results:

Cameroon 5 - 3 Zimbabwe

Algeria 2 - 1 Egypt

They were both great games, with lots of wonderful goals. Algeria snatched a shock win with a few minutes to go, after defending virtually the whole game. Achiou ran from inside his own half on the break, through the Egytian defense and then finished perfectly.
Mboma scored a hat trick, Peter Ndlovu & Modeste Mbami both scored braces. Mbami's 2nd was great, as was Zimbabwe's 3rd by Esrom Nyandoro.

Nigeria trio thrown out

Three players have been kicked out of Nigeria's African Cup of Nations squad after alleged indiscipline.

The trio said to be involved are Chelsea's Celestine Babayaro, Portsmouth striker Yakubu Ayegbeni and Schalke 04 star Victor Agali.

They were told to leave the team's base in Monastir, according to Nigeria Football Association general secretary Taiwo Obunjobi.

Nigeria's next Group D game is against South Africa on Saturday.

"They broke camp rules. They were supposed to be in bed, along with the other team players, last night but they were not," said Obunjobi.

"They only returned to the hotel early this morning.

"We have informed the team through the captain, Austin 'Jay-Jay' Okocha, and have received the approval of the sports minister and it was decided that discipline must be maintained and the players involved leave the camp immediately."

Two years ago, another high-profile African player, Bayern Munich defender Sammy Kuffour of Ghana, was dismissed from the competition for disciplinary reasons.
