LIVERPOOL FC FC ADD-ON

hey scouser..didya see the Liverpool FX add-on released at Fifafrance?
they had kits(Soccered),Anfield(by Kerim fifaturkey),chants,songs,Liverpool crowd,adboards and EPL ball.Well,no complaints about the kits,stad and crowd but otherwise it was kinda slipshod affair considering they had nike,dreamcast,sony etc...adboards for Liverpool! The chants and songs were also haphazardly mixed and considering that they were live recordings from the Kop,it doesnt do the Kop and Liverpool supporters justice.And I'm quite blurdy pissed that they used my EPL(old structure) ball without any permission or credit,I'm not saying it's the best,but IT'S JUST BASIC COURTESY. I was just thinking, after I get the permission to re-release Kerim's Anfield, about putting together a LiverpoolFC FX add-on, I'm already 80% done with the chants and songs,the kits we could wait till the official pronouncement or ask permission to use someone's(there's quite a few good ones around) It would be great if you could help,and we could ask any Liverpool fans in the forum to pitch(hey..even non fans would be welcome!!) The main thing is to put together a QUALITY FX add-on for LiverpoolFC. Whadya say man?:D

looks a much improved and cleaned up stadia and crowds.

just a tip, u can work further on the glass transparency texture, it should be all that neat. Hmm.. maybe try finding a photo and compare it and see how u can make it more realistic.

2nd tip, for major textures like those ad banners, try to find a good, high quality picture for a good high quality texture. and also make sure the structures are not too big and doesn't fit the texture, if not the result will turn out to be stretched and pixelated.

Thanx YJ for the tips...i've scoured thru my Liv mags for the pics though i still cant get the real zinc like texture of the stands like in the pic,it just doesnt show in the game,i had to settle for the distant view..light greyish as in the pics in the mags...

i'm redoing the windows now and one thing still pisses me off, the champs league banners' jagged look...still trying to get round dat.

is there like a best way to retain resolution when u have to resize pics?

hmm, increase the size of your texture is the best way.

another way, hmm, might be splitting the structure file into smaller pieces. let's say split into 2 parts and assign the first part to 50% of the texture and the 2nd part the other 50% of the texture....

not very sure though.... haha
