Are You All Going To Buy Fifa 2003???

Nahh...

I now sing the praises of Konami! Don't be fooled by EA, remember the so-called changes made every year are never what they're hyped up to be..

The only way I'd buy FIFA 2003 is if I see it in a bargain bin somewhere for like $9.99, and it probably won't take that long either....ever have a look in the discount games bin at like Wal-Mart? FIFA is always the first game they throw in there, I wonder why???

Maybe, if EA finally MAKE A GOOD ONE! Mind you I'll probably be too busy playing TIF2003 and Pro Evo2 to bother!

Everyone i know goes on and on about ISS Pro..but i think the gameplay can be pretty poor....sure ,fifa's gameplay is'nt great either but at least it flows better...What i like about ISS Pro Evo.. is some of their graphical features like the opening cinematics and the anouncments after a player scores

I think the FIFA series have more players and clubs while the ISS,PS2,etc. have better gameplay.

So, if EA really wanna compete, make better gameplay.

Dude... I guess people have different ideas about wut is a good gameplay. But I still have a hard time trying to understand that the WE/PES series have poor gameplay. The MANY people, you've mentioned, just don't go on and on about nothing.

I HONESTLY do have to say WE6's gameplay is pretty damn good... and for FIFA its HORRIBLE... IMO

But I guess its just me and the MANY other people.

BTW, how much did you even play PES???

 yeah riiiight.

Fifa flows like a dried up river. Nothing "flows" about the game, it's jerky, unrealistic and the ball goes 12000kmph while the players move slower than grandma with a walker.

You didn't spend much time playing PES.

oh, the best thing about FIFA is playing a season and having the top scorer finish with 126 goals!! Wow! Talk about realism...

EA really take advantage of thier fifa license. The problem with pes etc are that they dont have leagus and graphics are also not good but fifa has graphics and leagues

Well you're right about the FIFA license. But about graphics... I don't agree.

Yes the graphics Konami use for PES/WE are 2nd generation

BUT~!!!.... like so MANY others mentioned....
The way KCET represents the feel of FOOTBALL is soooo REAL~~
Yeah, the resolution and texture of FIFA are superior... but the way how the GAME flows and feel are just too BAD.

Oh, and about 'em leagues...
Guess PES/WE could be a lot better with 'em.
But they also have Master League, which is sooo much better than playing the league games FIFA have anyway.

;)

I bought em all upto Fifa 2001 but there is no way in hell im gonna buy another edition of the Fifa series until EA pull their finger out and make it worth the money.

Will see how the demo is.. but i got a feeling it will be worth nothing more than a blank cd.. AGAIN :mambo:

One chance, and one chance ONLY...

I will take a look at the demo.

We know they'll have the graphics fairly locked down...If and only if the GAMEPLAY is truly ALL-NEW, and - more importantly - makes the game more realistic, more PES-like, then I will take a shot.

If the demo's gameplay even REMOTELY smells like FIFA 99-2002, I will stop playing PC soccer games, and have someone FedEx me a PS2 and PES2 from London. Not all the patching in the world makes the current gameplay standard bearable...In the latter case, EA will unfortunately have to go down as both liars and incompetents.

I hope that the former is that which we have to look forward.
