I don't think i will be buying this one. I got FIFA2002, and I don't think I will be buying any fifa in the near future, unless things change drastically. The gameplay sucks, IMO. I feel like playing NHL2002 coz of much better graphics/commentary and more or less, the same kind of gameplay

That you blindly follow the majority?
You are on the FIFA 2003-forum: just make this topic on the ISS/PES forum and you get a result of about 5%-95% !
On the moment I post this, it is 60.66%-39.34% that means that almost 40% says "no", DISPITE being on a FIFA-forum, which is HUGE!

trust me... fifa must be losing customers, especially from this community. I definitely am one of those. Just check the sales figures of fifa on the consoles and compare them to the other football games, esp. by konami. Its just that there is no good competitor on the pc for fifa.

Don't buy it

I'm not going to buy FIFA 2003. In the past years I've bought:


Fifa International Soccer
Fifa '96
Fifa '97
Fifa RTWC '98
Fifa Worldcup '98
Fifa '99

Then I stopped buying the FIFA series. The reason why, was because I didn't like the game anymore. It was all the same. Already started thinking like this when I first played Fifa '97 (which is in my opinion the most bad FIFA in history! :P ).

So for the last couple of years I've downloaded the ISO's of the game, checked if I liked it or not. If not, no money for EA Sports. If yes, I'd go to the store to buy it. The same for this years FIFA 2003.

First I'll download the DEMO. Then I'll download the ISO when it's released and I'll check if I like it or not (Did EA Sports what they promised us??). If I like the game and it's really different then the past FIFA's, and it's such revolutionary gameplay etc. Then I might buy it.......

That's why I'm pro ISO's. I do that with all my games. I've bought so many games in my life, so I think I have the "right" to first try the game before buying the game. A CRAPPY one minute or one level DEMO doesn't say everything!!

Me and other people already have explained the superiority of PES/WE over that matter.

You're either being really ignor@nt or just trying to be an @rse with that post. No need for further explanation.

You either check other threads about wut you've said or just continue your denial mode and never realize how great PES/WE actually are in contrast to what FIFA has been for the past decade....

I agree with Hchu on this. It looks like you don't take an own point of view about EA or Konami.
Now you prefer FIFA because PES has no patches, but before I remember a post of you where said something about playing FIFA til PES comes on the PC

About those patches: You probably have the EA-standard in mind, always after getting a new FIFA-game you need a patch asap, but that's not nescessary with PES/ISS/WEx
And we have every year another version with nice new features

For sure, because it already has it's own forum (more then one!) it's own site (more than one) and even their own patches, although that's something which is a bit less populair, as you have to burn CD's to do that...
