Exactly how old were all of those players when they flopped in Serie A? Because Veron and Forlan were in the prime of their careers.
Forlán was 22 when he arrived in England ... his prime (26+) was spent in Spain ...

Verón went downhill from those lofty expectations in 2001 after changing leagues (ITA to ENG), just like Mendieta (ESP to ITA) ... basically, changing leagues can sometimes kill a career's momentum ...

There's also a massive difference between the Premiership in 1997 and 2011.
there's also a significant difference between the Prem in 2001 (or even 2003) and in 2011 ...

How a player does in one league versus another is irrelevant because there are SO many factors to consider; change in confidence/pressure, new teammates, new coach, new formation, aging, form, perhaps playing a slightly different position, happiness with the new city, etc. For example, I think Forlan folded under the pressure at ManU, and exploded when expectations weren't as high at a then-modest Villareal.

Would you like to argue that the MLS is on par with European leagues because Beckham, Henry, and Marquez are playing the same or worse over there?

Oh and tits.
At that period serie A was huge. In EPL theres no winter break for players or clubs to chill and they take the CHILL a bit too seriously. I meant the meaning and let alone a winter break they run on the pitch like a donkeys even in the Christmas period.

Space... well this was one funny point. Had u said that in La Liga the players have a better first touch to some extent thats absolute justice for sure i wont argue that. But passing space in the England they would rather shoot their grandmothers but wont allow a player to run the show. Now thats not a good thing as youngsters rarely get to shine other than the exception of a very few. Even Zinedine Zidane got rejected by Newcastle. Well thats Newcastle but if u cant make it physically you will either end up as a waste of talent there or get a serious injury.
This treatment or style or whatever it is its not a good way of progressing but for the teams of lower quality and financial aspects have no other choice but to do it that way if it gives you a point or 3 to survive so unfortunately its logical. Theres no other choice left for them. But thats still not a progressive way to build for the future but they dont really care about it as once you end up having a good season you got money to attract a player to the club.

But i guess it should end here as bringing out points and logics and facts is not that tough.

I figured out what's so offensive about your writing style. You don't use any punctuation in the middle of your sentences. Commas go a long way son.

EDIT: while Ramires has pretty much flopped, his fellow former Benfiquista David Luiz has taken no time whatsoever ... and what about Luis Suárez from Ajax -- his assist against Man U has to be the best this season ...

Ramires flopped?!

ESPN is advertising the England - Wales match as featuring "two of the game's best talents in Wilshere and Ramsey." What a joke.

They are though.

Oh and tits.
Ramsey is just 20 and he just returned from a horrific injury but "two of the game's best talents" is a bit too much unless the meant it just for the GAME between wales and england

Reserve Team
Apparently Lehmann did not impress during a reserve match today with Arsenal's reserves. I guess you can't expect wonders from him in the current situation but Arsenal desperately needs a skilled goalkeeper with good leadership so he can give directives to the defense.
