When Arsenal had 11 men Barça had about three shots on target. After Busquets own goal, they did begin to attack more and ironically were reduced to 10 men when RVP attempted a shot. I find it useless to argue more about teh game and I do find it unfortunate that the referee's decision has taken most of the attention (also I kind of agree with Mascherano's post-game comments).

More importantly for Arsenal at this moment is the league and FA Cup. If we were not facing United I would not be as bothered as I would be confident that we would be able to drag ourselves through to the semis. Not so sure we can win the tie outright at OT, still would need to use our strongest side available and probably Ramsey since Cesc is absent.

We all know that more often than not Barcelona turns domination into a win and we also all agree that Barcelona were the better side. BUT its not a fact that at 1-1, had Van Persie stayed on Barcelona would have been able to score 2 goals. Maybe they would have scored 3, maybe conceded 1 or scored none, none of us know (although apparently Sevillista knows that they would have scored 2 goals no matter what). Out of all that uncertainty, there is only one thing that's more clear than others and that is that one decision killed of any chance of Arsenal scoring or even having the confidence and momentum to not concede 2 goals for that matter. And it was a badly wrong decision at that.

Hard to believe that it was less than a month ago that I saw Arsenal put in a terrific performance with a almost completely fit squad to beat Barca at the Emirates. Our season's been a nightmare since then.

That said, we only have ten games left, and hopefully our players recognize that and can give their all in every one. Today wouldn't have been so bad were it not for the injury to Djourou- that's a real blow. The amount of injuries we've picked up in the last 30 days or so has been fluky and truly unlucky. Hopefully we can scrap our way to the title though, we've still got a chance.
