No worries. Gonna be a really interesting season in the Premiership. I feel like no top team has really addressed their weaknesses except for maybe City so far.

Spin? That's the first line of the article, I didn't spin anything. I'm not sure Arsenal wouldn't accept a straight up 35m Euro bid.

looks like I was 7-8 mil short on my valuation though ... I guess the updated "compromise" figure would be around €38M ... but the tactics are clearly as detailed above ...

I've (and just about every source I see) had ~35m as the price all along. 39m Euros = 35m GBP. Barca are clearly trying to negotiate, but Arsenal just aren't playing ball.

I've changed my opinion a few times as has Barcelona. If they don't get him this summer I think they'll definitely buy him out of the contract next summer for peanuts, but I think both clubs just want this over with.
