Oh and on Arseblog they're pretty certain Vieira is gone.
Yossarian will be happy, we shouldn't settle for anyone less than Ballack.
We could also move Kolo up to midfield and splash some cash on a real world class defender.
We're going to look like a small club if we sell one of our best players and don't buy another world class player to replace him.

Arsenal better play a more competitive side rathr than a conference one.

Where'd you see this at? It'd be a welcome read.Originally posted by acmilan101
Wenger has confirmed Vieira is staying for this season. Let the speculation END.
If what you say is true, why has he scored against Chelsea, Man utd, Hat trick against liverpool, Newcastle, Inter Milan. Surely if he was crap against them he wouldn't of scored?Originally posted by LaBrujita
Henry - Don't get me wrong, he is a fantastically gifted player. He scores important goals, at times. He can do some amazing things.
However, he is not a consistent player, nor is he a big game performer. In every big game, he spends the entire time acting like a great player, instead of playing like one. If passes are not right to him, then he looks at his teammate, as if to say 'what the **** is that? See what I have to put up with?'. He then proceeds to not fight to regain possession after he has lost it. He rarely takes on defenders with the same confidence and focus as when he is playing against, let's say, Richard Dunne on Man City. He will work on, on the ball, but it takes him nowhere, and usually produces a lot of token efforts (i.e. Euro).
He has many gifts, and scores a **** loads of beautiful goals. I feel that he lacks on the big stage, and that's what will hold him back, and possibly Arsenal, from becoming the best in Europe.
