have an x800 and on cut scenes and replays im getting 3 fps. any fix or ideas, or even an explanation?

ATI Card slowdown?

yeah i know. x800 is fine with most games, except this one. well annoying. its fine in open play tho
Predatorian came with this possible solution:
Open the three files cfg_pc_ on notepad or any other text editor.
Search for those lines there:
DISABLE_DOF = 0
DISABLE_POSTFX = 0
Change the 0 to 1 so it stays:
DISABLE_DOF = 1
DISABLE_POSTFX = 1
Close and save
Gonna loose some new visual effects like Field of view but should play a lot smoother.
Another thing that could work is disable cinematics
disable AA but I like to play my games with AA on.
Let us know if one of the things works and let's hope for the best when the full game will be released in a few days.
EDIT:
One other thing I found out, get the Demo match explorer from MD and play the game in 'windowed' style, no more choppy cutscenes!
That's how I play the game myself

yea i know in windowed mode it works fine but thats beacuse in windowed mode a lot of things that the graphics card does in full screen is disabled. as i notice even with vsync on it doesn't make a difference in windowed mode.
like i said in regards to the aa issue that it doesn't do anything for my x850xt, the setting at the moment is app controlled and it still causes choppy cutscenes.
also tried disabling those things but no difference.
any more ideas anyone?
yeah hopefully full game will be fixed for us people with this problem

It would be a big mistake on their part though since there are very many ATI users in the gamescene and what the hell were they doing all this time with their so called testing :boohoo:
Well I don't think is an ATI Card Issue. I'e an ATI x800se 128mb at my office with WMCE on it and the game runs great. At' home I'e one PC with an ATI x850XT 256mb with WXPPro Up to date and another PC with an Nvidia XFX7950 GX2 1024mb with WXPPro and both have the cut scenes problems, but when the 3rd demo came out it fix that out. Well I've only re-installed the demo in my PC running my Nvidia Card.

I just tried this in my H and M config file and it works great now.

oh no, dog food, i imagine u got it from lets say alternate websites. i also will be getting the game from a private site because of this problem, try before you buy. but the problem persists?
its such a shame, coz this fifa is actually not bad at all, looks like ill be playing PES5 still if this cant be sorted, will try the solutions mentioned tho
