The only thing that im afraid of today's match is Sapuranu in the right back position... A. Madrid will be more strong certainly, but i think F.C. Porto can handle it, i hope that Hulk can make one of his explosive goals and bring the victory.... Good Luck for both sides.

Thanks Coruja.. I'm not nervous yet, my feelings for a victory is strong. I have this feeling not often. Barca at home last year, Schalke at home and Barca two weeks ago.. Maybe it's a sign.

hellz yeh we thru (H)

I thought it was a good match, we started pretty well having a strong initial half hour, and an almost perfect entire second half.

Atletico only managed to create a couple of chances throughout the match and none of them were of real danger while we hit the post twice and Franco was ******* inspired and saved your asses a few times...again

we only somewhat lost control of the match at the end of the first period because Atletico started getting their act together and had a good spell which basically consisted of possession but still prevented us from staying on top of things.
And after some shaky five minutes in the second half we went on to play good football, only to be denied the goal by some misfortune.

At the end I have to accept the draw since it takes us trough anyway, but man wouldn't it have been awesome to watch and feel the packed Dragão celebrating a (deserved) winner...

Don't forget that we should have got a penalty. You know the Simão-situation.

I have to accept that we have been eliminated, because one team have to leave the competition. Just hope we can get over Málaga this upcoming weeks.

Penalty on Simulão? Funny how you don't mention the penalty on Lisandro in the second half, or the wrongfully disallowed goal to Lisandro in the first leg
so ffs stop whining dude, Atletico's been outplayed in both matches and we're deservedly through.

Lisandro's goal at VC was offside. Don't be so blind.

They didn't show the match here in Norway, they always show the English football here.

Then if you haven't watched the match don't be so quick to talk about the ref's work.

And I still say that Lisandro scored a clean goal at VC, but let's leave it at that dude I don't think we're gona agree on this one...

:willis:

The penalty on Simão was a bit to pushed, but there´s no doubt that a leg/foot crossed his way. The one on Lisandro was a bit more clearly. F.C. Porto deserved the win again, so i think it was fair. I wish good luck to A. Madrid for the rest of the season. ( GO SIMÃO )

It's sooo important for us to beat Villarreal tomorrow. I have some doubts 'cause Pellegrino is a very clever manager. Well, I can beg for Agüero in a topform tomorrow - then it will be a w.o, but we can't rest just because of him.

And ABEL RESINO.. do not screw up again - USE FORLÁN!

Deco to Atlético?

Atletico Madrid are considering making an approach to sign Deco from Chelsea after Roman Abramovich made it clear that he could leave the club in the summer, according to a report.

Los Colchoneros believe that the Portuguese star could revitalise his career back in la Primera Division and give their team balance and creativity after a torrid season in the Premier League.

Deco, 31, looks set to remain as a substitute under new Blues boss Guus Hiddink, despite being told that his current injury
will not keep him out for the rest of the season.

Abramovich is reported to have drawn up a list of players who will be sold in the summer as he looks to replenish the squad, and Deco's name is on it, Sport state.

Atletico believe that the former Porto and Barcelona star can still perform regularly at the highest level and are preparing to make initial contact about a move.

Deco may wait and see who will be Chelsea's manager next term, but the chance to play regularly in the season heading towards the 2010 World Cup Finals would be attractive.

Having played 23 league games and four times in the Champions League, the Portugal international's fitness is not in question, and Atletico want to know how much the Blues want for him.

The Spanish outfit will face competition however, with several English and Italian sides set to make bids should Chelsea make it clear that Deco will be leaving.

Deco is one of the best midfielders I've ever saw! Until this f*ckin Messi "appeared" Deco was my favourite player in Barcelona above Ronaldinho and others. I watched him in some matches for Chelsea and he showed some classy moves. I'm sad for him because he didn't adapt well in Premier League. I would be happy if he will return in Spain but sorry I don't think he will. Maybe he will return in his foreign country maybe at Porto.

I hope he do. Would be cool to see him in our midfield. We need guys like him to build a team who can fight for more than 4th places.
