Nedved is such a quality all round player, he can shoot with both feet, can play on either wing, centre midfield or behind the striker.

And he battles for his team too. Some players like zidane play well when they have the ball, but when its gone do you see him coming back for it

I agree with you about that except Mutu. He was Serie A scoing leader and was the highest rated player according to average of media ratings. So he should be on the list if you are going to have players that only got to play in leagues and not UEFA tournaments.


Nedved is the clear winner and any other choice other than Buffon, as he won UEFA player of the year allready, is scandalous.

No other player came close to what he did for club and country.

But R.Carlos deserves to win, his performances have been non-stop. Just like Henry, Nedved (2nd choice ), Raul and Del Piero (excellent leader for his team)

Yeah, i note that no one has even so much as mentioned Shevchenko, but i think he could be a worthy winner.

Couldnt be as a much a farce as last years winner, Michael Ballack was absolutely robbed.

Shevchenko ? Why ? He was completely out of form for most of the season and it was all Inzaghi. Shevchenko started playing well only towards the end of the season.
