Can someone please explain to me how Mutu is 10-1 to win the thing, when he hasn't done anything of note, or been hailed for consistent good performances.

I agree with that comment about the highest paid players being on the shortlist, and fifty players is too many anyway. Should have been around 20-30.

Pavel Nedved will probably win it though, his form last season was absolute class. Second to none.
