They are the best team this year without a single doubt and their achievement is unique and almost impossible. We all have no problems recognizing the obvious.
However, a little bit of modesty from their fans would be nice but it seems that that's way too much to ask.

let's not generalize -- I think there are (and always have been) a few Barcelona fans on SG who have tried to conduct themselves with decorum ... but I do understand the annoyance: 10 years ago, after the treble -- which was the 4th such occurrence, but you could have sworn from the insistence of Man U fans that it was the first such event in history -- I (and many, many others I'm sure) had to endure a similar air of superiority and condescending gloating by Man Utd fans ... but even then there were individual Man Utd fans who could not be grouped with the ignorant others; so too it is the case now ...

as most of the logical posts in this thread have acknowledged: this is a unique, and unprecedented marker set by this team ... but, for the record, I maintain that the "best of all time" stuff -- be it a team, or a player, or a match, or anything in any other profession / field -- cannot be categorically decided, so I prefer to maintain my personal (subjective) preferences, and leave it at that ...

Good point, I wasn't aware of the fact that Madrid never won the treble as such. Of course I knew that the general was a little too fond of us, although team since Real has won 5 european cups.

Although like you said, Barcelona has had the best season by any club in football history so it is hard to argue against the fact that the current Barcelona Team is the best team of all time.
