I'd argue the Ronaldinho/Rijkard era still tops the Messi/Pep era. Ronaldinho in his prime was like watching someone painting a masterpiece every game. Of course, I'm a fan of dribbling over passing.

the passing was decent as well.

That team won 2 La Liga + Champions League+ ... and they were so unlucky to not win the third one (because of Spain's head-to-head rule).

Dinha's Barca played lots of classic matches as well. man, I miss that era.

No, we weren't unlucky, we gift the tittle to madrid. Rijkaard era end in Paris. Ronaldinho play the european supercup against sevilla drunk and deco aswell. I don't miss that era because the actual one is much better.

You are inappreciative.

Ronaldinho scored 35 goals in 75 matches during 2006-2008 and you say he was drunk and poor. I agree that his level was not the same but he was still a good player.

he helped Messi to score that hat trick against Real (just review goals). It's so unfair to don't consider him for that achievement.

Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Kluivert and Ronaldinho left Barcelona on bad terms and they didn't receive a respect and appreciation for their effort (I'm not just talking about fan's behavior, staff and management as well especially for Ronaldo, Rivaldo).

Unfortunately, the same goes for Henry and poor chygrinsky as well (who got booed recently).

So does Ronaldinho. Of course I'm grateful for what he did for us at his prime, but after that he disrespected the club and its fans by his behaviour, and there's no excuse for that.

All player have up and downs.

Let me give you one example, Christiano Ronaldo publicly declared that he wants to leave United and it is his desire to play for madrid. In addition, he didn't perform well till the end of last season. But did United fan boo him, did United fan disrespect him?

Don't tell me that Ronaldinho disrespected the club and its fans more than Christiano, he actually wrote a letter to Barca fans as an appreciation.

We, the barça fans, still love Ronaldinho but that doens't mean he is still a footbalist because it isn't. Look at Dinho before and after paris, its another player! lost all his explosivity now is just a playmaker with some brilliant passes and a penalty kicker, the old one were unstoppable.

Yes, ManU fans still love Ronaldo... Just ask Mikey.

love and respect are two different subjects my friend, don't mix things.

I hate his ego and personality, but I respect him as a player and appreciate him for all things he had done for United.
