Thanks for reminding us that Bayern let him go for peanuts. :( He has amazing skills for a German.

That he does and it still annoys me that left a team where he doesn't get to be the man.

Senior Squad
good opportunity to captalize on Bremen's slip-up and increase the lead.

Probable Line-ups:

Bayern Munich:
------------------Kahn-------------------
Sagnol--------Lucio---Ismael---------Lahm
----------------Demichelis----------------
Deisler-------------------------Zé Roberto
------------------Ballack-----------------
--------------Makaay---Pizarro-----------

1. FC Nuremberg: Schäfer - Wolf, Cantaluppi, Nikl, Pinola - Polak - Saenko, Kießling, Kristiansen - Schroth, Vittek

Referee: Knut Kircher (Rottenburg)

Liza and Schweini are playing...

1-0 Bayern, great pass by Pizarro and a coolf finish by Makaay.
1-1 Vittek
2-1 Ballack, nicely set up by Makaay

2-1 FT

Not an easy win against an opponent in relegation battle. The defense was a bit shaky here and there, Kahn saved our ass.

18th straight home win in the league, almost 2 full years without giving up a point at home. :rockman:

great to hear about the Pizarro+Makaay Duo doing great, hopefully they can show up against Milan.

Also what has happen to that player they signed Dos Santos? is he injured? what's your take on him Vince will he make it to the starting squad? also anyone got the highlights of the game?

Hendrik

Team Captain
Nah he's not injured but hasn't made it into the squad yet. Magath says Dos Santos was a transfer for the future and with all the midfield options I doubt he will get any playing time this season. Right now he's working his ass off during training to get into better shape. He lacks stamina but that's just normal.

Hendrik

Team Captain
Hopefully Simic replaces Cafu, Ze would own him and could feed the strikers.

Milan's defense seems to lack pace, it's a shame we don't have many players that can capitalize on that (except for Ze, Schweini, Deisler). The others are all tall and good in the air.

BayernBoz

Senior Squad
Bayern beat Cottbus 5-2 in a friendly match to mark Cottbus' 40th b-day.

Dos Santos scored 2 goals. I'm liking it...

other scorers were Scholl, Pizarro and Lahm.

Deisler

Red Card [Being a douche] exp. 22/1/06
Finally i'm back. Was supposed to be back long ago but apparently they thought i deserved 1 more month of vacantions. Thanks guys, really nice of you. :D
Nwayz who cares right? :p
I don't know you guys but i am in milan bashing mood. Pretty annoying those black and red so colled devils. (6)

Calm down a bit mate or else you'll get permanently banned.

Hannover 96: Enke - Cherundolo, Mertesacker, Zuraw, Tarnat - Balitsch, Lala, Dabrowski - Stajner, Hashemian, Brdaric

FC Bayern: Kahn - Sagnol, Ismael, Demichelis, Lizarazu - Jeremies - Deisler, Ballack, Zé Roberto - Makaay, Pizarro

Lucio was in Brazil during the week to visit a critically ill friend of him. He's being rested for the Milan game.

Hendrik

Team Captain
0-0 at half, Bremen's leading at Dortmund

Interesting line-up there, Lahm as dm and Karimi on the right. I got the feeling that Hashemian is gonna score the matchwinner. :(

1-1 FT

Ballack saves our ass again with a last minute header. Kahn had to be subbed off and is doubtful for Tuesday.

ouch is it a concussion he got? Rensing will def need to step up (I really hope experience wise it doesn't come back to bite us in the a$$ :( ). Good to see Ballack hasn't lost his scoring touch. Lahm as a DM? wow shocking can't imagine him playing DM.

btw Diesler you should control your temper sometimes because like Vince said you may get banned for good.

damn it, I hope Kahn is ok

here' some good news:

AC Milan captain Paolo Maldini will definitely miss the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie at FC Bayern München on 21 February after failing to recover from an ankle injury.

Damn, nice sig Pizarro14.

I hope Rensing steps it up...what better stage for him to prove himself than against Milan in the Champions League.

Rensing is my pick for the next great GK for Germany (to early I know but I just see he has all the tools to become good maybe great at a young age)

I hate predicting because I don't want to Jinx Bayern

Klobb
