I highly doubt we're looking for more players, especially one as expensive as Diarra would be. Lyon made something like 90M Euros by selling Essien and the other Diarra the past two years.

They're about to sell him to Portsmouth for €8M. And that news is wrong. It's Bremen who are interested in him and apparently wanted to offer Lyon a swap deal involving Klose (we're not in the US so they couldn't do that without the player's permission).

Besides the fact that Diarra already played with our amateurs five years ago and then left because of too much competition he isn't that good anyway.
Demichelis is a better player if he finally gets out of his slump. Altintop can also play the CDM role.

I think that the stories of Bayern being interested in Diarra, and the swap involving Klose are part of the Klose-Poker. Bayern announced that they are done with transfers, and Lyon have their sights on Trezeguet.

The only loser in this game is Klose himself, sadly. I wonder if he can buy-out his contract from Bremen. That would be interesting.

i don't know about the kids. we could use the kits of last CL

and zé roberto tema. i think he is good and maybe he has played very well with NT and Santos. Ok. but he is old and i would preffer an authentic defensive mifileder. i suppose we will play with him, van bommel, ribéry and sosa/schweinsteiger. in this midfield there isn't a defensive midfielder. I would prefer a player like sissoko, emerson. We could siggn one of them. Sissoko played well against barça and is young.

and diarra... he isn't enough good. before tiago.

and demichelis is good. last year was one of our best players.

and on the paper, who will play in the midfield are vbommel, (zé roberto), ottl and altintop because i count demichelis as a CB

He was brilliant in 2005, Uefa shortlisted him for the team of the year. Yeah, he had some horrible games after his contract extension, in the last weeks of the past season he looked decent again imo.

Remember how he went into a deep depression after not getting picked for the World Cup squad? Might have had more of an effect than we thought on him. We usually don't see stories like that about players, he was like "My life is over, I have nothing to live for."

My next jersey is probably the new Home kit with 7. Ribery. I was gonna get a Ribery jersey before, but now that he has that number, it's official.

I would've bought Podolski but i hate #11. I would never wear Toni's jersey and Ribery is too ugly lol so the choisses are either Lahm or Shcweinny.

What number will Schlaudraff wear? I wouldn't mind having him on my new jersey.

EDIT: Forget all of the above. Now that Brazzo is gone i am hoping Poldi gets his # 20. I'll deffinitively buy that one.

Schlaudraff, Sosa and Ze haven't got a number yet. Depends on dos Santos' and Makaay's future.

Podolski will keep #11. They don't change numbers when too many jerseys have been sold already. Same reason Deisler wasn't allowed to take #10.

What's the story with him btw? Is he fit with retirement? I still can't get over it, 26 years of age and with that talent. Why retire? I mean even though he was an emotional mess and mostly injured he still had at least 6 good years left on him. Shame..
