Ok........we play VfL Bochum on Sun 8/20 (is that date correct?)..........IMO if we don't win this one there is a serious problem. The True benchmark fixture will be against Werder Bremen in Oct. Hopefully by then our disabled list will be shortened.

Okay, I'm new to the Bayern discussion and I have many questions about Podolski, how to you think Podolski will do in things like the the CL, how long will take him to develop into a world class player, if there's one club that can develop him into one, it's this one, also how many mintues of play and goals will he get, and will the Schweinsteiger + Podolski duo create more success for Bayern?

Once he's fit he competes with Makaay and Pizarro for a starting spot so he should get enough playing time. Then it's up to him but I doubt we're gonna see extraordinary things from him this season. He's more of a longterm investment, maybe ~10 league goals.

Tomorrow's headline in the tabloid media: "Bayern pursuing WC star." FFS, if that's some **** about Ribery again they can kiss my ass.

Probable line-up vs Bochum:

Micho and Pizza are back and it seems we will stick with two natural dms.

He ain't fit, no big deal.

Hoeness gave an interview, some interesting points:

- if we had matched Ballack's demands he would have stayed, he went only for the money
- CL: round of 16 is the minimum
- after September 1st Owen will have forgotten about Man United, he's a professional
- Owen's possible high transfer fee doesn't mean anything to the management, it's about the prinicple. Selling a player to another big club would be a sign of weakness
- Camoranesi: we won't give a single cent to a club that cheated on the world world for years
- if Klose is on the market in 2007 we'll go for him

Haha is that arrogant or what. (H)

Bayern hunt "King Knall"

Eurosport - Michael FitzGerald - 20/08/2006 11:45

Despite this summer’s transfer window yet to close, German double winners Bayern Munich are already preparing a move for Werder Bremen striker Miroslav Klose in 2007. “If Miro is on the market next year, then we’ll certainly do what we can to try to sign him,” said general manager Uli Hoeness.

The 28 year-old has blossomed since moving to Bremen from Kaiserslautern two years ago, and struck 25 goals in 26 games last season, followed by five more for the German national side in the World Cup. Just this week he was named in an annual survey by Kicker magazine as Germany’s footballer of the year.

“King Knall”, as he is fondly referred to in German tabloids, has stated his desire to move abroad on a number of occasions, though he admitted his delight at hearing of interest from the Bavarian giants: “It's nice to hear. Bayern is a top club. We'll see what happens,” he stated.

Bremen managed to hold on to their striker this summer, though despite the striker insisting he is “very happy” at the club, he still has his heart set on a move to one of Europe's top clubs.

“I'm assuming that Werder wouldn't stand in my way if I received a big offer in 2007” Klose added.

hurhurhur........I don't know whether to hurt you badly or make love to you after that hilarious quib about the fantasy league, man.

You should be made to wear a Burqa until the final game of the season and have the crap slapped out of you for what you did to that league by Marlins-ing away your roster within the first week of the season, bro.

Bailing on your fantasy league bros for supposed "tough working" hrs is worse than running out on your cancer riddled wife and malnourished triplets who are still suckling for an 18yr old piece of ass.

Remember that, Carlos. We ain't gonna forgetcha, and we ain't gonna forgive yah either.
