Best Dribbler?

Zidane is the best dribbler, he is the hardes guy to take the ball from.
Denilson only has 1 move, which is that bicycle thing..

ronaldinho or pires for me.

Ronaldinho has extremely quick feet, and pires never seems to lose possesion and knows when to dribble and when to pass

put Henry and Davids out of that list! they don't dribble anyone... run with the ball is different of dribble the ball...

Ronaldinho is the best dribbler today... Zidane is more like a guy that don't loose the ball and use his technique for this but he don't dribble a lot...

then we have Quaresma... he have a different dribble style of Ronaldinho dribble style...but it's great too! i think he dribble more than Ronaldinho (i don't say that he dribbles better, but he only have 19 years) ... he dribbles more maybe because he plays in the line...

Well the best dribler far far far but really far from that all,is the new portuguese star,18 years old,CRISTIANO RONALDO. The portuguese friends said to me,that him and quaresma, are the two greatest talents appeared in portugal in all history, and that the dribbling power of quaresma is even better, but never saw him to play and I doubt it. Cristiano is really the best dribler I've ever ever seen.In the one on one situations,he is really a magician, and he can dribble in speed great too,but in speed the best of all time was maradona.

First of all Zidane is not really a dribbler he just hold the ball up. Figo is a dribbler. Also, Henry can be considered a dribbler because he does try to take guys on and doesn't always use his speed.

I think Figo and Ronaldinho are the best dribblers and when Ronaldo is in his best form he is the best dribbler out of any forwards.

Robinho ? ...maybe if your talking about feints, stepovers....not sure though......Zidane is definitly the most fluid dribbler if that counts for much

Without a doubt Ryan Giggs is the fastest dribbler. Zidane is probably better in actually tricks and all that but he can't run as fast as Giggs and dribble at the same time. It really depends on what you see as dribbling...is it trickery? or is it speed, balance?
For speed (ie. fastest) I'd say Giggs.

I think Giggs is the best AND fastest dribbler but he hasnt got many skillmoves..
Speaking of skillmoves.. i think Jay Jay Okocha and Zidane are the best in this category

I think we need to break down the type of dribblers. I will put Ronaldo and Henry in one category. They try to fake u and burst by u in the opposite direction using their speed, all the time looking fo ran opportunity to strike at goal. Zidane and Okocha hold the ball up and avoid people coming at them while they scan for a passing chance. Now, I will consider people like Denilson true dribblers. They do not beat their man with their speed but they do some with trickery leaving them confused in their wake with no enthusiasm to give chase. They do not simply hold the ball up either, but they look to move forward. They usually beat 3 or more people on their way. Just my 2 cents to this discussion. I can give one suggestion to the latter category, Abedi Pele. many may not know him but he is one of the greatest African players ever.

Too me Okocha is one of the best dribblers out there. Denilson has that wild step over move but he can also can take it further where he fakes it and cuts back. It's kinda hard to describe but I saw him do it against the Germans last summer.

Where is the 'other' option? Personally, I've never seen anybody move with the ball like Juninho Paulista does...what that guy can't do with 2 feet isn't worth knowing about

I can't decide, its a toss up between Zidane, Denilson and Giggs. From what i've read, Robinho is a good dribbler.
