Figo (the Barça Captain) was the best dribbler, no doubt about it, he always went one on one and win the defenders.

yea I forgot about the "other"....
but I think its Denilson with out a doubt....
he's fast as it is, but his feet quickness is amazing! I just rewatched that WC game against Turkey, and the Turks had no idea what to do, they looked foolishly on the ground when Denilson had the ball (with all due respect to the Turks of course)
I dont think giggs can really dribble, I think he can out run players after pushing the ball foward, but he doenst have the feet quickness Im talking about with Denilson, but I guess that just makes this category more difficult to decide.

Giggs is the best dribbler??? IMO Giggs has like barely any skill moves, he tries beating players with speed and just running zig zags... IMO Zidane can dribble well but he isn't the best, Denilson is great on the dribble but my favorite is Ronaldinho, this guy has got moves from kicking the ball forward while stepping on it with the other to step overs to the spin (seen him do it once) this guy has game

Denilson for sure!this guy is amazing. the dribbling skills of him is famous.but you all think this guy can do just one trick,you're wrong.
you have to see some old games of sao paulo or Flamengo where he played for and you will realise that everything this guy does with a ball is magic.
Davids is underestimated i think, Davids has grown up at the streets and have many tricks and dribbling skills.but he does not show them always in a game... but he's one of the best dribblers,go and see him doing streetsoccer in Amsterdam or watch some of the nike commercials.

yea I didnt put Ronaldinho up there, cuz I didnt want a Brazilian bias, thats why I opted from putting Robinho and Juninho and others...

Has anyone seen Okocha's goal when he was at Frankfurt?He kept dribbling the hell out of the opposition defenders (4 + the GK) in the box for about 10-12 seconds and finnished it off so very coolly.One of the most entertaining goals I have seen.

I voted Denilson...In the World Cup, Brazil would jsut bring him on and throw him the ball when they wanted to waste time...
However, itis quite hard to say...Ronaldinho should DEFINITElY be in the poll...
Those who say Giggs, as far as all round dribbling goes, Pace AND Tricks (which is where IMO Denilson is ahead of Zidane-when u combine them) Giggs isnt that great...Id say Kewell and Pires are both better..

The best moment in the wc for denilson was when the entire Turkish defence was chasing him, the depressing thing is that he still somehow managed to get out from being surrounded by 5 players.
Kewell and Pires aren't really dribblers per se, more they can run with speed and can easily change direction, so mostly they just kick the ball past a player then round them while they're distracted.
