My favourite had to be Fifa world cup 98 on the PS2.. lol i luved playing the Indoor soccer option. coming 2nd would of have to be Fifa 2002... i spent the whole year playing it. I am sik of fifa 2004 allready, i rkn it has to be the most repetitive of all the Fifa's, the gameplay is so repetitive , and **** all game modes.

So top 5

1. Fifa World Cup 98
2. Fifa 2002
3. Fifa 2002- World Cup
4. Fifa 2003
5. Fifa 2000

:P Fifa 2004 doesnt even deserve the top 5

1. FIFA 98 Road to World Cup
2. FIFA 2000
3. FIFA 95
4. FIFA 97
5. FIFA 2003 <- only because of the graphics and detail nothing else!
6. FIFA 2004 <- Online play
7. FIFA 2001
8. FIFA 2002 <- Players seemed to be stiff when trying to dribble to the left or right. It felt forward or backwards was the only direction to move.
9. FIFA 96
10. FIFA International soccer 94
11. FIFA 99

Combined the gameplay/options of FIFA 98 and some of 2000 and also the detail level of FIFA 2003, and I'd be satisfied.

Some of the FIFAs were a joke, it was far too simple to score from a set piece, no matter what difficulty level you were playing at.

Most definately FIFA 98 was the one that I most played, even after FIFA 99 and even 2004 was released. Firstly I played on a Sega Saturn, then on PSOne and finally, when I bought my first PC. I bought the game even before the computer so I could play it at my cousin's.

After that, I got FIFA 99 and I also enjoyed it very much.

But when I bought FIFA 2000... I got WIDELY disappointed. And so on. Well, WC 2002 was an enjoyable game, especially after installing ULTIMA 2002. And with FIFA 2003 and Sameer's patch, I also had some good times. But FIFA 2004 and now EURO 2004 I didn't enjoy myself, again.

CONCLUSION: I still play FIFA 98 :)

Look, I have played FIFA since 1995 to this day in 2004

The best FIFA gameplay wise is FIFA 2004 BY FARRR, even with the bugs. ITS the most realistic/deepest fifa

The best FIFA interface/management was FIFA 2000. It had sleek menus and very nice PLAYER EDITING options/screens.

The best FIFA non gameplay wise was FIFA 1998. This game is by far the best FIFA ever in any way you put it BESIDES the gameplay.

How cansomeone like WORLD CUP 2002fifa??? You could score GOALS from the CENTER OF FIELD anytime you wished
