British Comedy vs. American Comedy (and any other nations who fancy a fight)

Yes, an international comedy fist fight or something. Laughter is universal, but some countries are crap at laughing.

Or something.

Anyway, to kick things off for the British side...

Is that CM1 running in the backround?

Brass Eye - Crime

And err... the not so good...

If anything this is just an excuse to link to funny things.

lmao, that was hilarious, the end bit with the mirrors was the funniest part.

There are more, I can't be arsed linking to it now but search for 'Look Around You Iron' on Google Video. Equally as funny :D

What about Max & Paddy's Road To Nowhere? Pure quality, or the legendary Monty Python? Or even Alan Partidge's Knowing Me Knowing You. Aha.

yeh the Monty Python films are good, but the Monty Python TV series is just one step further. Admittidly, if you arent watching closely you'll miss half the gags though.

Ministry of silly walks is arguably the funniest thing i've ever seen.

I wasn't even that big a fan of Phoenix Nights either.

It's a crime even to compare American to British comedy. British is so much better. Fawlty Towers and Black Adder being my favourites, just behind that Monty Python, but also Keeping up Appearances, Allo Allo and the Thin Blue Line.
