It's the 56k modem restricting me. :f***:

When I finally decide to get a job, and the left over cash, then I may purchase it. Infact, my Grandad sent me £300 for no apparant reason, maybe that could cover the cost of broadband for a year.

When you have your next school holiday, I will then, because you go to bed far too early for my liking. :)

And then you lose your midfield edge, the other team swamps you and your keeper has to pick the ball out of the back of the net. I'd rather get the odd player sent off then a goal conceded.

I agree 100%

I was told that if you flood your midfield with players it stops the other team from performing as well as they should.

If the other team go defensive/counter, or play Direct, your screwed. If the team get past your midfield down the wings, chances are they will score, crosses will come in, you can't stop that with 2DC and 1DM.

I normally put a defender with high influence as a captain, because he can encourage the defence and midfield.

Oh well see ya, hope you all enjoy CM4 which I have no doubt in my mind that you will.

I havent seen a mention of Decisions, which is another important attribute when choosing a captain.
It, along with Influence (aka. Leadership in editors) are the two major things I look at in attributes, then i look at things like how long they have been at the club, etc. Age isnt a huge issue for me, if the player is good enough at leading, and making decisions, and is respected as a first team player, then why shoudlnt he be captain?

Cheers

Don't listen to him! He will

The best bet is just like real life. Putting in Roy Keane or Dennis Wise

Good at decisions, hard tackler, no flair and a dirty bugger :p

Aye, I really can't see Pires or Henry being captain when Vieira is there.

And if he uses Broadband?

If he uses broadband, by banning the first 6 digits of the IP, you are taking out a huge sector of IP's.

I.E
Charlton 21 IP = 198.425.456.75

If he had broadband, every time he signs on to the net, it will do up, so 198.425.426.76 would be his next one, therefore, impossible to block him. You would have to ban 198.425.

If you do that though, say a random person, excellent at CM wants to join, he has 56k dialup, and his IP is 198.425.735.27, he will not be able to sign up.
