Well, for my experience i stopped buying Motorola; great designs but poor quality,my last 2 motorola stopped working for aparently no reason and i take good care of all my cell phones.

I have (for almost a year now) Sony-Ericsson's Walkman, great camera, mid-priced( im guessin in Europe and US, cuz here in Mexico cell phones cost a fortune thanks to the low competition in service companies, this thing cost me almost 400 dollars and today costs like 330 ),and great mp3 if u need.

anyone have any experience with the Sony W300i? It's another one I'm looking at... if you guys are wondering why I'm researching so hard, it's because I'm getting an unlocked phone and every place I've seen that sells them doesn't give returns unless it's dead-on-arrival, so even if I'm unhappy with it for whatever reason, I'm stuck with it..

I've got a 6230i, i maintain that it isnt actually as good as the 6230 which i had last year, just seems slower. Great phone though, got a 1gb MMC in it.

Right now I have the Motorla SLVR and I have more gripes about it than any of my other phones I've ever owned. It's really cool looking but that's about it. It's really fragile and the screen scratches easily. And dust collects under the LCD screen!! I've heard that's a warranty issue and that Motorola will trade for a refurbished one but I'm not ready to trade in a new phone for a used one just yet.
