Thanks for the update.
I have something to report. The normal map (texture type=NVTT) becomes so light after exporting as a dds. I use photoshop to open it.

Actually the preview of nm in the tool has also changed. In version 0.6, it previews correctly and looks good in photoshop.
Update: My mistake, the nm only previews correctly in the tool but not in photoshop.

Could you take a look at the dlc lua files (e.g. stories.lua), I could decompile it with luadec (5.1), but I think it is not fully complete extracted.

its actually the other way about, it is correct in photoshop but slightly wrong in the preview, its as close as i can get it at the moment, ill see if i can get it to preview better but 100% correct when exported in photoshop

I don't know whether I have problem with my photoshop viewing dds file.
This is how my photoshop displays the dds exported from the tool.

But a normal map is supposed to look like this. I exported it from blender as png file.

This tool is extremely useful, thanks for all the hard work you've put into it!

One suggestion - Could you possibly add a 'sort' option like in File Maser so it's easier to find certain IDs?

Bug report here:

When I try to import a shorts into the game with this program, it seems to be nice, but when I go ingame, the shorts are bugged, the zones of the shorts doesn't match.

Importing shirts and shields works perfect.

as i have said in the past exported to png does not give u all the function of a dds file,
the conversion to png will give u different results as oppsed to exporting to dds directly.

thanks for the report,
i made a small calculation error when rebuilding the rx3texture part.
the error occurs in any texture which is not square, thats why the jersey is ok because its 1024x2014 ehere as the shorts are 1025x512, i have now fixed that and tested by importing a pair of shorts, i will release a new version within the next couple of days, again thanks for pointing that out
