Milan are a class apart, I'm not all that disappointed to be honest. We still have a chance at two trophies this season, and next season to look forward to.

Milan did a professional job. We couldn't create with the ball in our possession. We didn't even keep it as well as Milan did.

Giggs, Scholes, Rooney, Brown--they didn't do that well.

I feel bad about this one.

Congratulations to Milan. I want you guys to beat Chelsea or Madrid. Impressive squad. very professional apart from Crespon. :f***: diver.

Credits to Milan but IMO they didn't play spectacular football. It was us who played ineffectively. Milan = OVERRATED

You're going to be stopped by Chelsea or Real Madrid.

Well it isn't a disgrace, we lost twice in an Italian style, twice it was 1-0 and it was Milan. I hope Man U learn from this and come back stronger next year

Awesome game Milan, simply shut United down, Ruud was invisible the whole game, and so was Rooney. Once again the master Ancelotti making the right moves and subs. Couldn't have asked for a better result. Congrats.

We were outclassed by Milan in both legs and they deserve to go through. We have next season to look forward to and hopefully some new signings.

Players that did particularly well:

Stam- Rock at the back. Cleared everything. Combined well with all others at the back four.

Cafu-the most consistent performer whenever he plays. Best right-back in the world. No doubt about that one.

Kaka-Great skills. Had moments of excellence

Gattuso-Efficient, effective. Used his trash-talking game well, interacted with the fans for more support.

Honorable Mentions:

Rui Costa- superb technique. Kept things moving, the type of player you need for such high profile matches. Wasn't spectuacular, but did his job.

Howard-Considering he hasn't been playing regularly for a considerable amount of time, in such a high-profile match against superb players, he did pretty well. Hoped he could have saved the header though. Very close. Had good positional sense. Needs to practice his kicking skills.

Ferdinand-partial blame for Crespo goal. otherwise, performed well. not bad.

Heinze-was caught out of positions for once or twice, however intervenced many more times and saved our arse. Player of the season.

there is a reason why Milan is now in the next round of CL, and co-leading the Seria A.

I don't think that is result of being overrated. And yeah, madrid :rolleyes: the first has to go to Turin.

Only one shot on goal, Milan walked all over us.

The harsh truth is that we think we are much better than we really are. We are not a top European team. Top English? no doubt about it, but not top European. Just because we won it 1999 doesn't automatically make us good by defenition the next season and it's about damn time the team learned that.

Van Nistelrooy did nothing, Rooney did nothing, Ronaldo did nothing and should have been taken off, Keane didn't seem comitted, Scholes did nothing. Giggs was the only United player who did a bit until he had to go off.
Silvestre had another shocking game, we should dump him because he's far from the player he once was. Heinze did pretty good and Brown wasn't very noticable. Tim Howard did well considering he must have been nervous, there wasn't much he could do about the goal.

Oh...and I got so pissed off that I fracture my palm when I hit the floor in frustration. Ouch!:(

Crap, just utter crap. Most of our players have ability but they lack athleticism. They'll be walked upon by bigger and faster opposition simple as that.

Oh well congrats to Milan, hope we sort our **** out.
