Champions League Draw - 2nd Group Phase

Every group is tough now, but if I had to pick an Italian and Spanish team for Man Utd to play against it would've been those two. Juve because of the history between us at the end of the 90s and Deportivo because of last season.

Arsenal has to face Ajax and Valencia.
PSV was easy for Arsenal but Ajax is no PSV believe me, to win with 5-0 like they did against PSV is something that will not happen.
But what great games they will be: Bergkamp against the club where he started his career!!
Man I can't wait, first against Valencia away in two weeks, that will be a very tough match but I hope they make it through.

Good groups for the German teams. Leverkusen have chances to go through and Dortmund will f*uck up

If we can regain our form in the first 4 games of the group stage, then this group should be no problem (yes, even Real), but if our current "form" continues, we will come 3rd.

BTW does 3rd in the 2nd stage get UEFA Cup?

No group there is easy. Arguably the Milan-Real group is the easiest but I wouldn't want to go to Lokomotiv in the middle of winter - or even now.

I don't think 3 spanish teams will go out ! especially not Valencia. they look strong as hell.

I would not say the Milan-Real group is the easiest. Okay, Moskau is not good but Dortmund could be a problem for Real, they showed that they are as strong as Arsenal.

Yeah me too.. Hehe..
Anyways, Manutd and Depor are together again. This year Depor looks stronger and Makaay is in fire, so it will be harder than last year.
And of course Manutd-Juventus, that will be amazing match ! I hope Manu and Juve will get through.
And AC Milan and Real are together. Wow, what a match that will be. I can't wait for these games !!!

Tough draw for Inter and the other groups as well.

Actually I think Group A is the weakest. The group is definately more wide open than the others. I think Barcelona will come out either first or second (they are inconsistant ya know) and Inter, Leverkusen, and even Newcastle have a shot at qualifying. Inter has not exactly been impressive in Europe. It's a shame that Basel couldn't have replaced like Leverkusen, because I think that if they were in Group A they would advance.

Group D should also be rather close, with Juve and Depor coming out. I can definately see Man Utd dropping crucial points to Basel.
