Great. Fair enough. I know not playing total football can be boring... But other tactics are better at times. Especially with the players you may have in a team. Like you, I found the final boring to be honest. But I enjoyed both goals and think Inter, no matter how boring they can be, deserved it. What I didn't like is that Barca fans are saying that Bayern played "football". Thats just bull****. Inter also played football.

Yeah you do have tactics but its the exact same everytime. It becomes VERY predictable you know. I like the way you guys close down on players each and every time you lose possession. This gives the opposition NO chance of doing something with the ball. This was clearly demonstrated against Arsenal (also a team playing with possession footy)... Each time an Arsenal player had possession, 4 Barca players went on him. That was very effective against Arsenal.

I wouldn't say pulling Messi in the middle is a tactic. Its just using the same tactic but with players in different positions ;) Like Xifio once said, its like plan A1, plan A2 etc... Not plan A or B or C. I don't blame Barcelona TBH. With the players they have, total football work brilliantly for them. They can be a joy to watch at times... But my point was that there's only 1 tactic at Barcelona: total football. Other tactics do not exist except from variations of the plan A. I don't think they should use other tactics anyways... Total football always seem to work for them.

I agree, no any Barca fan that says Bayern is the only team to play "football" and Inter doesn't deserve to win is talking crap. Defense is a part of the game, and you could say to some extent it was "art" how Inter defended at times (ok maybe not art), but the players were so compact and it could definately be one of the best defences I've seen.

You can't eliminate Chelsea and Barcelona, and not be thought to be a deserved champion, that is stupid. So I agree with you, and anyone who says so, is obviously biased.

Yea we only play one way, but it is what we are known for, and that is why I love this club. Because we take our philosophy everywhere we go, mes que un club(Y)

Nah I think Azreal has mentioned it a few times, but I find it absolutely understandable. Its up to the viewer some people find Barca's footy boring, and are entitled to do so, they maybe like more direct and wide open games.

Their opposing teams :D They spend most of the match watching Barca with the ball. As my dad always says, it's exhausting chasing the ball all game.

I don't blame people for thinking they're boring when they're in the lead and maintaining possession... but when they in search of the goal, I think they are the most entertaining team to watch.

When Barça starts to move the ball fast from one wing to the other and attack without stop the goal its the most exiting thing to watch. Arsenal - Barça first 60 minutes, what a show it was... or Barça - Bayern first half, OMG how i enjoyed.

Barca can be very entertaining. For me, that only occurs when:

1. They're looking for a goal AND
2. Up against a weaker side (substantially weaker) AND
3. This side is looking for a goal too

But honestly, that's the recipe for entertaining footie no matter the team. To be fair, matches in which the opposing team gives it a real go and do it properly, but that usually means Barca don't get to play comfortably, so it's not really a valid example.

Personally I've never understood why nor subscribed to the theory that there is only one way to play the beautiful game - a manner which Arsenal and Barcelona would have you believe they have patents on.

As they say, beauty is on the eye of the beholder, as opposed to being in the eye of beholdee.

IMO, Inter's counter-attacking was a thing of beauty. Especially where the player who initiated the attack ended up finishing the attack(Milito).
