Yeah true, but Liverpool are always that little bit more determined when they play us. We know what to expect though. It'll be a tough game for both sides, because both of us have been looking a little iffy lately.

This has to be the game for Chelsea to step it up, and get all three points. It's gonna be a cracker.

Would love to see Everton pull off a shocker too, but I doubt that they will.

my sympathies guys... it was a disgraceful performance from mike riley. Gerrard and Bosingwa should have been sent off and not lampard.

I am just appalled by the standard of refereeing in the english league. I watched 2 games today. Howard webb gives a penalty that clearly wasnt to newcastle against sunderland and mike riley with a disaster. They all got the big decisions completely wrong.

I listened to most of the game and both sides seemed to lack any kind of desire up front. I'm not saying Chelsea should have won, but a draw was fair i think.

Lost to Liverpool playing with 10 men. Ref bottled at Anfield, nothing new.
I hate the fact that Gerrard gets away with just a yellow card for a similar tackle to Lampard, and dissent towards the ref straight after, and then diving like the prick he is.
And not long ago I've heard him say he resents divers, what a facking hypocrite.

Well, doesn't change the fact that we didn't perform once again, but I have to say this time, Liverpool as hungry as they've looked never troubled us when it was still a fair game.

I'm really hoping for our young guns, namely Kakuta to spark some life and pace into our squad.
Also, Scolari has to try something different, 4-4-2 for example, now Lamps is out for a few games(unless we appeal and it gets accepted, highly unlikely in this situation).

Confirmed on Chelsea website. Finally, some sense from the Chelsea board, Hopefully he doesnt do as bad as he did at Inter.

I'm not.. He's the kind of player I wish would do well because of the NT, but each time he just keeps disappointing... It's a shame Porto sold him only because he was helpful in the Portuguese league... Anyway, it's a fantastic resume for such an underachiever: Barça, Porto, Inter, Chelsea..

It's true that. But even in the Portuguese League he was inconsistent at times. Fili can tell you many Porto supporters were unhappy with that, but also Quaresma's lack of professionalism in general. And rightly so, he doesn't fit in the "Porto's player profile", hardworking, never giving up in plays and all, so also don't expect Quaresma to defend, because he doesn't know how and doesn't have the will to.

But of course I'd like to see him do well in Chelsea, because of the Portuguese NT. Even if it's driving way the fans with Queer Arse in charge...

I'm not sure how good Quaresma will be for Chelsea, but I do know that he was way under the expectations at Inter.

Sill, I expect him to do better at Chelsea. I mean I think he fits better to Premier League than to Serie A.

I heard he is going to wear number 7, the same he use to wear at Porto. Maybe he'll get his luck back.
