I read this somewhere in an article after the Chelsea-United game :

"Huf , finally we have our new boy off the mark in Chelsea colors .... woops , its not Torres , its David Luizzzz !!!" :bouncy:

What the heck are u guys on about.

it was about some funny joke about El Nino for being unable to score his first goal and the new defender David Luiz scoring against Man utd . And yeah the goal was so brilliant that Torres would be proud of

Yeah, right. Hindsight is always 20/20, nothing funny there.

Before the Utd game, most of us weren't expecting but hoping Torres to score, Luiz was already in-form going to the Utd game.

Seems like the Torres mojo did somehow work on Vidic, who got sent off yet again.

poet11

Oh and tits.
yeah this it wasnt torres who actually materialised the sending off but his presence only made him lose his mind and another coincident the next game was against LIVERPOOL.....

Alex will be back against City. Benayoun probably next week will rejoin full training. We'll have almost everyone fit for the tail end of the season which is quite a relief.

We played a good game against Copenhagen except that we didn't put away our chances. The lads were probably looking forward to the game against City but in all in all, Copenhagen didn't threaten much.
From the draw, I guess most of the big clubs are gunning for Schalke and Shakhtar.
I'd rather we face the likes of Barca & Madrid later than in the QFs. I do have a slight feeling we'd drawing Inter again.

poet11

Oh and tits.
actually shakhtar is dangerous and i mean DANGEROUS. Schalke would be a better choice. Yeah one can say they faced Roma who were already living in a bad moment and roma did score 2 goals so there is a point as Chelsea are obviously way better than Roma but its still dangerous because they can cause massive damage and for me Shakhtar are capable of giving BARCELONA a shock.

My personal favourite to win the Champions League are Chelsea as i stated before. U guys may even win the league also. Carlo knows how to do it.

So we got ManU, and if we beat them it's one of Inter or Schalke.

Well, at least with ManU we get someone we're familiar with, and if we do advance, reaching the final shouldn't be that hard.

Yes, we've only ever beaten you thanks to Martin Atkinson. Seriously, **** off, you're such sore losers, the bunch of you.

Typical "The world is against me" Utd fan mentality. Have you ever sat down and thought about the numerous times the ref saved yer arses?

Last season Drog's goal was offside but Macheda also pushed the ball into the net using his hands. Too bad. At least we're not bringing up Mike Dean after he screwed us against at the OT a couple of years ago. (Mikel red card, dive for Saha's penalty).
And what about Evan's kungfu kick at the Bridge last season? Perhaps that also slipped your minds.

Thankfully not all Utd fans are whiny lil' gits.
Most of the Utd fans I've spoken to are actually looking forward to the game and having a good time at London. Since Platini doesn't an all English final especially at Wembley, its no surprise that the draw means that we have to take each other out in the QFs.

Help?

Let's be realistic, a United vs Chelsea final would be a terrible snoozefest just like the last one in Moscow.

I wasn't "whining". I know things go our way sometimes and on other occasions not. Was just being a bit sarcastic on Atkinson thats it.

I am relishing the opportunity of playing you guys in the UCL too.

May I remind you that the game you are referring to was actually Mike Dean's work, not Atkinson's and it was at Old Trafford too. In addition to Drogba and Macheda's goals, United were denied 2 quite clear penalties, although Chelsea should have had one of their own from Anelka, but that doesn't cancel out anything. Mike Dean screwed us that game.

As for Atkinson, his decision to give Chelsea a nonexistant fk and then fail to spot Drogba bundling over Brown from it gave Chelsea an undeserved win at Stamford Bridge, which was crucial in the title race.

You can hate our mentality all you want, but its still a fact that Atkinson ****ed us twice at the Bridge.

I'm aware that it was Mike Dean. As bad as a referee he was during that game and a lot of other games for us, we moved on and you should too with Atkinson. May I remind you that we won at the Bridge without the help of the ref that season.

Care to point out these incidents as I can't remember any incident being clear penalties. Are you talking about ones with Park and Berbatov?

Well, moaning about it isn't going to change anything. You look at team like Spurs and they've been screwed numerous times they played Utd. Happens to any team.

FINALLY! A win against City. Took us long enough to score, City were happy to soak up the pressure, thankfully Tevez wasn't playing, he's always been a thorn to us.

Great goal by Ramires, absolutely brilliant.

We should sign more Brazilians. :D

Everyone should sign more Brazillians :33vff3o:

Important victory that puts Chelsea in a good position. I don't think they will be able to have the league title as a goal but they can at least secure a good finish in the league and, most likely, a CL-spot. David Luiz could be the replacement for Terry, he is very skilled.
