So I'm assuming I won't be hearing about Chelsea fans complaining about Arsenal "stealing" youth players from other teams.
And looks like you're even going for 12 year olds. You must like them young. :p
The difference being, of course, that we will overpay for them (hear that, Arash?) and you lot will literally steal them....cause youre too skint for your players to exchange shirts after the final whistle and were fu*king loaded (H)
No allusions to being a pedo when Wenger is your manager (6)

That's why I don't post here anymore.
I think youve gained a bit of rep now, I just dont think people understood that you "liked" all those other teams, but that Juve was your first team.

We're chasing these two young Ajax lads but not Ryan Babel who's like 19 years old? Well he'd be tougher to get anyways. Anyways Frank Arnesen looks busy bringing in some new young talent to the Bridge. I also heard that he was chasing another player named Adriano (obviously not the one on Inter Milan but I think that this one is on Sporting Lisbon).
The problem with trying to get guys like Babel or Sahin, who are clearly future stars, is that at the moment they might not be good enough to displace first teamers. Were seeing the rotation idea break down a bit already with SWP barely having played, and yet buying more "unpolished" good players who might not break into the first team will invariably stunt their growth. Thats why I love the relationship the team has with PSV, where they can let a guy like Alex develop, and then hopefully get first option on him if he is needed.

And between Keane and Coldplay, I havent heard X&Y but I know they are quality. However, I think "hopes and fears" is an excellent cd, especially the first half: "She has no time", "Might as well be strangers", "Cant stop now" (Y)

Anyway man, take a ride over to the players lounge, the music discussions there are pretty good ;)

Jose's response to Cruyff was one of the coolest, sharpest, and most caustic I've ever heard coming out of a coach......wowzers. I mean, it didn't concern me or the teams I support one bit and yet I still felt that burn, man.

Rob and Arash's arguments (H)!!!!

I think Sahin will come to the bridge. He looks like a very sharp player as he is on the first team at Dortmund. (Y)

"But he [Cryuff] can't teach me to be champion because I've done that three times, and I never had to rely on Djukic missing a penalty in the last minute of the last match. He can't teach me to win the UEFA Cup because I've done that; he can't teach me to be European Champion, because I've done that, and I don't want him to teach me to get battered 4-0 in a Champions League final, because I don't want to learn that."

Thought this was a pretty strong quote. :)

Slow news with internationals happeninig. Either Mourinho has a guy who writes him speeches, or he's just a genius. His response wasn't obscene or anything but it's pretty much telling Cryuff to shut the......

Wow. I was wondering what Yoss was talking about there, but that was truly a world class burn. Id rather he didnt get into this back and forth with such a prominent figure in the history of the game

Arash is gonna flip his shit (6)

Chelsea wants to loan out Huth to Aston Villa in the January transfer window. I hope the deal goes through, the kid needs some playing time.

I would rather see him loaned out to Germany, personally. I dont want him to get nostalgic for his homeland, and want to leave, or anything, its just we have this nasty habit of selling players to English teams we loan them out to, and I wouldnt want Huth to become the next casualty.

Doesnt Dortmund need some help with their backline? I remember someone on their thread saying that Huth would be the best defender on their team because Metzelder's form was terrible

You're Irish? I love Ireland.

Hopefully I'm going to get to go to Dublin this summer.

Anyways, as you know, Duff may need knee surgery but it will only keep him out of action for a month max.

And There have been rumours linking us with Jorge Andrade (Portuguese defender). Mourinho's deneid them. I'd hate to say this, BUT I can't help but add that Andrade would be a step up from Huuuuuuuuuuth. I'd rather see Kompany koming in though.

Nuno

Andrade would improve any teams defence. Not only is he a smart defender, but he's very fast as well. Andrade and Carvalho are a major part of Portugal's recent success.

The backline needs a lot of help, but I think you mis-read. Huth, on a good day, would not be better than a crappy Metzelder. No way. Huth would be a sure upgrade over the aging and deteriorating Christian Worns, though. I would warmly welcome Huth, in a heartbeat. The only semi-dependable center-back we have on the bench is Marcus Brzenska.

Come on Gallas, you aren't gonna have better chances of winning with AC Milan. And why don't they just offer him a big two year contract, and then let him go. He's so useful since he can play ANY position in the back 4 and do we really want a player like that going to one of our rivals.
