The all had their go in the game thread, treble. I was surprised too though, because it was only the gooners who took shots at us in terms of neutrals. The mancs all realized how desperate they were and how lucky they got to escape with all three points.
Still, 40 games isnt 50, and I was f*cking pissed that the run came to an end.
All the gooners are pretty happy they still have their little award, but I know deep down inside that its only a matter of time till we crack that mark and set the longest unbeaten run ever. Hopefully this, like you said, gets the players in gear and makes them realize that they have to play all 90 as hard as they have before to make it stick. You could see though, our malaise disappeared in the second half of that game and we came on as strong as ever. Like you say, we were just unlucky not to score.

Nice little article i found.......Nice to see we are winning peoples respect at last..............
Mour boys good losers
CHELSEA and Arsenal’s unbeaten Premiership runs both came to a halt at Manchester United — but that is where the similarities end.
All you heard from the Gunners’ camp were moans and groans. You would have thought their world had collapsed.
Ridiculous when you consider that at the time Arsenal were playing some of the best football of Arsene Wenger’s reign.
The contrast with Chelsea on Sunday could not be greater.
Blues played like the champions they are in the second half and accepted defeat graciously despite perhaps deserving at least a point.
There tells the tale of the mentality of the two London sides.
Arsenal’s season collapsed when they were beaten by United. They could not handle defeat and made the mistake of thinking they were invincible, losing the plot as well as their title. Under no circumstance do I expect the same to happen to Chelsea. Even if they do lose their next match to Newcastle, they will without a shadow of doubt retain the Premiership crown and their manager.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho’s arrogant manner shields his players from criticism.
Mourinho has said he would deserve the sack if he lost three games on the spin.
He won’t be resigning or getting the sack but if Newcastle do pull off a shock he may have to eat humble pie — and I’m sure he wouldn’t like the taste.

OH BUT PETE, CHELSEA R SOOOO ARROGANT LOLOLZ
Nobody brought this up, but this was one of the first things I thought about after we lost. What happened last year: Pizza gate. Arsene Wenger SLANDERING Van Nistelrooy as a cheat, and Cygan or whoever chucking soup in the opposite dressing room.
When the whistle went at the end of sundays game, I was gutted, obviously, but I watched for the reactions intently. At Anfield last year, some of the boys broke down but most got on with it, and despite the heckling, objects being thrown from the kop and the emotion of the loss, they got on with it and shook hands.
All you saw after Sunday's game was total class on the pitch. They exchanged shirts, shook hands, and (for me this was the most significant part) Lamps, Terry, Cech and I believe Duffer were off in the corner clapping our fans for their support, as if it was any other game. That mentality after the loss tells me that we will not do another Arsenal, not by a long shot.
In the postmatch, Jose was bluntly stubborn but fair. He clearly respects the mancs and ferguson, who, as it was, gave a classic interview. He sometimes seems a bit senile, but damnit, I respect him and most of that team.
Looks like Jose's got one more on Professor Wenger, Master of Mind Games. When he brings home back to back titles, that will be something else he has over him.
