If Roman ever leaves, and thats a big IF by the way.(Wishfull thinking on the part of others), there is no reason at all why we as a club should slide down the pecking order in world football. The plan is to be self funding in the long run and by then our wealth will be established anyway. People seem to think that IF Roman leaves, that suddenly we will be skint again. This is illogical and stupid. We would still be very very wealthy.

Roman loves the club. That is obvious to anyone who has seen him at EVERY ONE of our matches. He says that he will always be a Chelsea fan as are his family. He says that he will be a fan for life. Chelsea will be making him Club President for life too. He aint going anywhere, he is here for as long as he lives, and believe me fella's, he will live to be a very old man. In spite of silly KGB stories other fans might like to spread around. :rockman:

By the way....Chelsea 1 - Charlton 0.....Drogba gets the first.

It's all about respect. A healthy rivalrly should always involve respect, not like the idiocy we've seen here on the last page.

I mean, guys the whole thing that makes you hate your rivals is what makes football so good. Lack of respect is just :kader: :kader:

If someone beats my squad, I'm not going to insult them and their fans, but I am going to cheer all the harder for us to win the next time, so I can gloat when my turn comes.

Good post Carlos, i do know what you mean to be fair. The grudging respect i have for Man Utd and Arsenal (and maybe in a few years, Chelsea) doesnt make me want them to capitulate and be relegated as such, rather it pulls on me to support Pool even more next time we play said teams.

Yeah. He got a lot of stick for his theatrics last season. After saying he wanted to leave England because of that, he then said that he had decided to stick it out and work his socks off to get rid of that reputation. So far this season he has been as good as his word, and his improved effectiveness to the team and to himself is there for all to see. He's stayed on his feet this season on many occasions, when in the past he would have hit the floor. His football has improved because of it too, and he looks far happier on the pitch these days. He sure is a handful for defenders. Very strong indeed.
