This was the single most anticipated game of the season.

The first ever game between inter-city rivals in MLS.

USA vs. Mexico. (Vergara made it very clear that yes, this is about USA v. Mexico.)

Primetime soccer on ESPN. (Something we very rarely get to see.)

And MLS had to f*ck up their scheduling. How could they not figure out that the NFL draft would run over an HOUR into the game? Unbelievable.

A lot of people on BigSoccer are furious with ESPN, but most of the anger should be directed at MLS since they bought that timeslot.

Yo run dmb i totally agree from the point of it being big for the league, i was making the funny comment like... MLS scheduling this slot when they knew the draft would last awhile (it always does) and then calling it a rivalry which it clearly isn't. At least skycam went down, that was the highlight of thefirst half. Your from bigsoccer? Isn't that the board that worldsoccerweekly uses? I haven't listened to those guys in awhile but i loved them, is there a place to get their archived shows? They used to have that but took it away and now i dont know when or where to get/listen to them.
