Chivas USA vs L.A. Galaxy [P+R]

I dont think there was a single American in the stands at the HDC tonight.

The first half was the probably the best 45 minutes ive ever seen in a regular season MLS game. The second half was horrible though.

Cobi Jones - legend. He just gets thrown around every time.

Wonderful atmosphere at the Home Depot Center.

Too bad i only saw part of the second half, but from what my brother tells me, it was a good game. There's no need to talk about what happened to Chivas. Why didn't the Galaxy finish it off? They clearly had many chances to do it, make it atleast a five to one, yet they didn't. What was that all about? Did they expect the big names to do all the work?

Anyway, the last nail on the coffin for us today, not the best day to be a Chivas fan. Atleast it was nice to see the true Chivas followers at the Home Depot Center, chanting until the end. Wish the players on the field would had shown the same pasion.

We could be losing 5 to nothing, and the Chivas porra would be still be there. Heck we could be losing real bad at another country, like colombia, and they'll still be there. We're the real thing, football is passion, without us there's no football.



Maybe the american mls fans could learn a thing or two about this. I never seem to make fun of the crowds gathered around American Football games, even after their teams are taking a beating, or are having a horrible season. You still see them there. (alright enough rolleyes for one post :fool: )

I can't believe those guys on ESPN were trying to hype up this match so much, already considering it a great battle between 2 clubs. Cobi Jones is also full of crap talking as if Chivas were robbing his stadium and the Galaxy had to kick them out, etc, etc, crap, crap, crap. It's too early to consider this some great duel. There's just no real importance to this match. Perhaps by the end of the year things will change, but to be honest Chivas suck too much to make things interesting.

I don't see the Goatf*ckers improving AT ALL this season. If anything, they are only gonna get worse. At the moment, 11 bottles of Chivas Regal would play better than the 11 Chivas USA put out each Saturday. Hell, they'd prolly manage to get a result!

Theres nothing wrong with building hype for a game. Especially for a league that needs all the hype it can get.

Cobi Jones has helped this league so much, and he will go into the hall of fame as one of the pioneers of Major League Soccer. He can say anything he wants.
