Chivu will go to either Inter or Real Madrid I think, the deadline for selling him btw is not tomorrow but 30 september, if he's sold after that he can't play CL for his new club, before that it's no problem!
He's definitely NOT going back to Roma, he's pissed and rightfully so IMO

Well if he goes to Real it will give them what they needed, a good defender. But now with makalele set to go to chelsea they really need a Deffensive midfielder aswell. Cambiasso is good, but not good enough for Real IMO( I think hes alot better on the left wing).

So signing Chivu would be good for them, but only the first step in strengthening the deffensive positions in real.

I think maybe Sensi did this because he has someone else in mind, maybe after getting Chivu he saw that he can spend that 18 mill somewhere else, for a better player.

That's only because there's morons in football who accept Madrid's invisible-money.

And also on the defensive thing for Madrid. I could see them TRYING to step up interest for Veira but their first intention was to get him to lineup with Makelele to adapt better to Spain. But yeah Chivu would be an ideal signing for the position(Not DM but all the way back), since he is pretty cheap for his talent.
